Eva's POV
I didn't think, all I could do was run, run as hard as I possibly could. "BOJAN!" I shouted the moment I figured he could hear. Bojan stopped walking and Jure grabbed his shoulder, forcing him to face me. I ran up to him, closing all that distance between us. "I'm here Bojči." I whispered before wrapping my arms around his neck, holding him as close as I possibly could.
Bojan buried his head in my neck, his hand moving from my arms all the way down to my waist. "Kako?" Bojan muttered. "Ne razumem." I knew something had to be up with him. I didn't understand a word he was saying, and the boys, Jan, Kris, Nace and Luka, who had now also gathered around us, were probably standing too far away for them to hear either.
I gently cupped Bojan's cheek and tried to get him to look at me. His eyes were glassy, like he was looking at me but he wasn't actually seeing me. "Bojan, c'mon." I whispered softly. "Let's go to your dressing room okay?"
"I don't feel so good." Bojan whispered quietly. He didn't sound too good, damn, compared to how he was on stage he didn't look too good either. I couldn't even care why at the moment. I just wanted him to be okay. I don't know what changed between when he was on stage and this moment, but it wasn't pretty.
I moved my hand to the back of his head, slowly running my hand through his hair. "Let's find a place for you to sit down." I whispered quietly and shot a look at Jure. "Can you lend a hand?" The drummer nodded and took one of Bojan's arms, putting it around his neck and helping to support him to the dressing room.
Jure sat Bojan down on one of the chairs and crouched down in front of him, talking to him in Slovene. Meanwhile, Nace walked past me, grabbing a bottle of water and handing it to Bojan before moving to sit opposite of him so they were at the same eye level. I was frozen in place once again, feeling useless as I watched the scene unfold in front of me.
That was until Kris stood in front of me and blocked my sight with his tall frame. We hugged for a brief moment before I pulled back, my gaze returning to Bojan once again. "Eva, how was your flight?" I heard Kris say, but I didn't respond. "Eva, we can't have you go down the same hill right now. Bojan will need you."
Somehow those words seemed to be enough to do the trick. "I-I'm fine. The flight was fine. I slept through most of it." I said quickly. "What the fuck is going on here though?"
"We're all just worn out from touring. No sleep, too much alcohol, the rest of us have been sleeping through most of the day, but none of us have seen Bojan do the same. He's just been pacing around all day. I thought you being here would help him, but my best guess is that it all came crashing down just now." Kris said quietly while rubbing my arm. "His body just needs some time to recover from the last few days. He'll be alright. He always is."
I just nodded and tightly grabbed Kris' hand as I watched Bojan, possibly crushing his hand, but Kris didn't even flinch in the slightest. Bojan somehow seemed less pale than before, so whatever Jure and Nace were doing, it seemed to work. His eyes were all over the place a while ago, but he seemed to be able to focus them now. It was such a relief to see that change in him. Finally it felt like I could breathe without issue. Bojan made eye contact with me again and reached out his hand. I stepped forward, forcing a smile on my face as I gently held his hand, meanwhile I was still crushing Kris'.
Meanwhile Jan joined me and Kris. "Hi Eva." He said and greeted me with a quick hug, which I returned after letting go of Kris' hand. "I just got off the phone with Martin, he'll be waiting for us at their apartment." I nodded quietly. Bojan told me a lot about Martin, his room mate and best friend.
Jure moved from his spot to stand up. Once again, he asked Bojan something in Slovene, who nodded in return. "Let's get him in the van." Jure said while looking at me. I nodded in return and gently squeezed Bojan's hand.
