it's the following week when adam wakes up to his phone informing him that he got a message.
he clicks on precious ro has sent a message attached with a photo, to view it.

he gets up to get ready before he has to pick rose up to take her to the hospital to see her dad.

she hears adam's car beeping alarming her.
she closes the door before remembering that she didn't kiss dodo.

she takes the flowers from his hand and presses her body flush to his.
she nuzzles her face in his neck, and he engulfs her body so close to his.
"how are you, my love?" he asks.
"better that you're here. are you okay? did you sleep well?"
"I slept very well, sweet girl. let's go. I want to take you out for breakfast."
he holds her hand and uses his other one to open the car door for her.
"you look very handsome" mumbles rose as she gets in the car.
"couldn't hear you, sweetness" he pretends to not have heard her.
"I said you look nice" she leaves the handsome part.
"no, I remember you said something that starts with h. what is it?" he places a hand behind his ear to show her that he's listening.
"I said, you look handsome" she repeats what she said earlier.
he kisses her cheek twice. "I should be the one flushing, not you, sweet girl." he chuckles softly, being the source of the butterflies sitting in her stomach.
she hides her face in her new flowers. "can I read your note?" she shifts in her seat before opening the pink note when he nods his head and stops at the red-light.
