chapter 32:

after adam has placed their luggage beside the bed, he goes to stand behind her body and hug her to him.

"enjoying the view, pretty girl?" he asks.

"it's beautiful. I can't believe it" she mumbles.

the view in front of them is of the tokyo tower, beautiful tall buildings, and a full moon.

"do you see these beautiful baskets?" asks adam.

"which ones?" she rests her hands around his forearms, earning a kiss on her hair from him.

"the flower baskets, there." he points his finger to the pink and blue baskets full of yellow flowers.

"I see them. what about them?" he goes back to resting his forearms near hers.

"do you want me to steal one for you?" she turns her head, "steal? since when do we steal, baby?"

she rubs on his beard, feeling how rough it is on her soft fingers.

"since today. come on, we need to have a little adventure, baby." he keeps rubbing on her jacket before he watches her face the scenery in front of them.

"how is stealing a little adventure to you? how come, baby?" he grabs her chin, gently to make her face him before saying, "if you say baby one more time, I will really go and steal the flower basket" says adam.

"baby, what do you mean steali-" she places her hand on her mouth. "I didn't say baby." she smiles through her hand.

"no, you said baby two times. you know, what I'm going to do now, sweet girl?" he asks her, rhetorically.

"what? you're buying me dinner?" she flashes him her perfect teeth.

"no. I mean, I will buy you dinner but after I steal not one but two baskets for you, baby baby" he sings the last words earning a gasp from her.

"baby, no no." she takes her hands off his forearms. "come on, you're joking. you aren't going to steal anything, right?" adam has already placed his foot out on the bedroom floor.

"you can watch me from the balcony, baby." he fixes his jacket-collar and grins at her.

"come on, adam, this isn't funny. you really are going to steal two baskets from this kind woman? look at her, she-"

he corrects her, "three baskets, baby." he holds three fingers.

"stop saying baby." she grows frustrated.

"four baskets, then." adam has already headed to the door, with rose following behind him.

it's difficult to follow adam when he's running, this fast.

"adam, no. come here. I'm talking to you." he pulls the card to their hotel room and runs in the hallway.

"adam, come here. I'm serious." she ties the belt to her coat before sprinting.

good thing, the elevator doesn't arrive quick, this gives rose enough time to catch her breath and link her arm around his.

"adam, I'm serious, please. you want to get me four baskets and the woman only has five. that is not nice, please. if you think it was funny, it was, but it isn't anymore" begs rose.

adam watches her face expression and notices her brows frowning.

"you don't want an adventure with me? why not?" he takes her extended hand and interlocks his fingers with hers, noticing her eyes softening.
