"Kain, are you in position?" Daniel asked through the earpiece.
They went all out on equipment for this mission. Any and everything that could make things easier, Daniel invested in. They were sitting in Tank's matte black armored Inkas Sentry Civilian. It was a bulletproof SUV Tank spent a pretty penny on. Not only to stay prepared but also because he liked how beasty it looked. Turned out to be real handy.
They parked a few yards down from Juan Guttierez's famous establishment. Khalil showed everyone the ins and out of this place. They watched them for weeks and studied their routine. They were prepared for every possible outcome. They had no room for surprises nor mistakes. Their lives depended on it. Since there was so little of them, they were outnumbered. Hence, why they had to execute by a vigorous clever plan.
"Yes, boss man. Sniper locked and loaded." Kain responded. He was on top of the roof of a building with a direct line of site to Juan's sports bar. That was Juan's coverup and his way to wash his money.
The group made it there at 2 AM. That was the time they noticed most of his customers were making their way home and wouldn't have to be collateral damage. Daniel already knew there would be bloodshed. He didn't want that to include innocent customers who just wanted to have a good time and go home. As for Juan and his entire crew, they had it coming. They got away with taking his uncle's life because he was a young boy with no affiliation. But coming for his girlfriend? His pregnant girlfriend? He promised himself they'd all suffer like he had to when he thought he'd lost her.
"Alright, what do you see?" Daniel communicated to Kain as he was loading his FN Minimi machine gun.
Puffy sat in the driver's seat, quiet as usual. Khalil sat next to Daniel, strapping his bulletproof vest. AK sat in the passenger seat next to puffy, picking at his teeth with a toothpick. He was only waiting for his signal to do his part.
Xavier was back at the warehouse with Tank. He was sitting with his entire computer setup. The sound of his fingers going a mile a minute on the keyboard echoed in everyone's earpieces.
"I see two niggas at the entrance to the parking lot outside. One at the door." Kain responded.
Daniel glanced at Khalil and nodded. It was just as they expected. "Bet. Lots of cars in the parking lot?"
"No. Just a few. Could belong to his men. Since I've been here the crowd evaporated."
"Cool. Standby."
The group wanted to be stealthy so that no one would see them coming. Xavier needed to hack their system to shut everything down. But they had to get someone inside first. If they were to shut it down before entering, the men inside would become suspicious and send people outside to scope the area.
"AK, get ready. It's your time."
"I got it." He tossed the toothpick by his feet and picked up his AK-47 rifle.
"Nigga, this ain't your house. Pick that shit up. Nasty motherfucker." Daniel said to him, disgusted by his lack of home training.
AK rolled his eyes and pulled his black ski mask over his face. "We in the middle of a fucking ambush and you worried about a fucking toothpick. I can't stand light skins, bro." He leaned down, picked up the instrument and threw it out the small crack in his window.
"Watch your mouth," Kain and Xavier said in unison. Their twin tendencies kicked in every once in a while.
Daniel shook his head. "You ready?" He asked Khalil who was awfully quiet and seemed nervous.
"Yeah." Khalil responded. Just not convincing enough. Daniel knew he had history with these people and that because they were looking for Khalil, it made this whole fiasco tougher for him.
