India
I was sitting around the island counter playing with my bowl of cereal. I really didn't feel like eating because that piece of shit Daniel ruined my appetite. After the perfect moment that was shared between us last night at the party, guess who the fuck popped up in my house?! None other than that plastic pussy ass bitch Natalie.
Just when I thought I was finally figuring things out. Girls like Natalie and Courtney were a pain in the ass. Speaking of Courtney, she kept her head straight whenever she saw me at school and I stopped receiving threats from her. I was hoping she learned her lesson and she would no longer present herself as a problem.
"Oh my gosh, Daniel, you're so silly," Natalie said loudly. I knew she said it only so I could have heard. I looked over at them sitting on the couch and she looked at me smirking deviously.
I rolled my eyes and looked away. "Oh my gosh Daniel you're so silly," I quietly mocked her as I pushed away my bowl. No longer interested in finishing my breakfast.
The doorbell rang and I got up to answer to the door. I walked past them in the living room and I saw Daniel watching me from my peripheral vision. I mentally cursed and ignored the slight heartache I was experiencing.
"Who is it?" I asked behind the door since I was too short to look through the peep hole.
"A bomb ass nigga, if I do say so myself." I heard a familiar husky voice.
I opened the door to reveal the goofiest smile known to man. "Only you Cameron." I laughed.
"Girl, bye. It's not as if I'm lying, right?" He gave me a big hug, nearly squeezing me to death.
"Ouch Cam." I giggled as I wiggled my way out of his grip. "No, you're not lying."
The boy was indeed cute. I was just being honest. I looked up to him as the big brother I always wanted.
I gestured for him to come in and he walked past me as I closed the door.
"Aye, what's up Daddy?" Cam asked Diggy as they dapped and Diggy laughed at Cam's greeting.
"Man you a trip. What you been up to?" D asked as Cam made himself comfortable on one of the couches.
He looked at Natalie as if he was confused or disgusted by her presence. Probably both. "Fucking bitches and getting moneyyy." He sang goofily and threw some loose change at Natalie. "What the hell you doing in here, girl?" He eyed her. I laughed out loud and looked at Daniel to see him with his hand over his mouth like he was trying not to laugh.
"Did you just fucking throw coins at me?!" Natalie screamed, shocked.
I laughed and walked back into the kitchen to throw away my cereal and wash my bowl.
"Yeah, I just thought you'd need it to put towards your lunch money for the next few days." Cameron more than likely knew her from when he was going to Rosemount. He obviously wasn't very fond of her.
"You're really just gonna sit there and have him treat me any kind of way. Aren't you gonna say something?" She turned to Daniel and he just put his hands up in surrender.
By this time, I was already finished washing the dish and I was watching the scene. Daniel stood up with a glass he was drinking some orange juice out of and approached me in the kitchen. He smiled at me and kissed my cheek. I blankly looked at him and tried to ignore the butterflies in my stomach.
He frowned. "What's wrong? You've been distant all morning."
"Wow." Was all I said and I walked away.
