I sat on the bed cradling three week old Ashton in my arms. Stephanie was laying under the covers half asleep. Cameron and Daniel were downstairs moving in furniture.

After the birth of Ashton, Cameron's dad bought them a nice suburban home that was recently built in our neighborhood. It was not as big and luxurious as our house but it was comfortable enough for just the three of them. It was a three bedroom and 2 baths two-story brick home with beautiful windows and a grand front door. It was beautiful and I loved the fact that they were closer to us.

Cameron moved out of his crummy studio apartment that his Footlocker salary paid for. Stephanie moved out of her college dorm. She had to take a couple weeks off of her studies to take care of the baby but eventually she would have to return to classes so she would not flunk.

I smiled as he curled his whole hand around my index finger and laughed showing his cute little dimples and pink gums. Talk about baby fever. Though, I dreaded the day I would give birth to this baby. I couldn't even handle menstrual cramps. How the hell was I supposed to handle child birth?

"Steph?" I called for her attention as Ashton began to suck on my finger.

"Hm?" She asked and sat up in their bed.

"I think he's hungry." I handed him over to her so she could breastfeed him.

"I hate this feeling," she laughed. "I don't know how to explain it. It's weird. I guess you'll just have to find out when it's your turn."

"I guess I'll find out soon enough," I pouted.

"What?" She asked as she positioned Ashton better in her arms.

"I'm pregnant," I admitted.

She gasped loudly. "We're gonna be mommy's together. I hope it's a girl so Ashton can have a little girlfriend," She giggled.

"Girlfriend my ass," I laughed.

"Is Diggy excited about it? Aww, he'll be such a good daddy. He's so caring. This past week while Cam was at work he stopped by every day to check on the baby."

I smiled and looked down. "I know he would be a great dad. Buuutt..." I anticipated, "the baby is Khalil's. Not Daniel's."

"Oh..." She frowned, disappointed. "Does Daniel know?"

"Yeah, he said he'll still be here for me and the baby. I'm glad he didn't stay mad too long."

"Aww. His character never ceases to amaze me. That's great then." She smiled and I nodded.

Cameron walked into the room and jumped onto the bed. "I'm tired," he stretched and glanced at his fiancée and son. "Don't be sucking my titties man," he said to Ashton as if he could understand.

I laughed and shook my head. Daniel knocked on the door as he entered and I got up to meet him halfway.

He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead. "Let's go. It's time for your appointment."

We said goodbye to Cam and Steph and made our way to the Doctor's office.

As we waited for the doctor to come into the room, I laid on the bed while Daniel sat beside me on a black stool.
