"Yo, this shit is nice," I heard Cameron say as I made my way down the stairs the next morning. I woke up to an empty bed so after I brushed my teeth I went looking for Daniel.

"Cam," I called him and he stopped shuffling through the bags on the floor to look at me.

"What's up, sis?" He hugged me and I walked to sit on the couch.

I yawned and wiped the sleep from my eyes. "Where's Danny?"

"He's outside bringing in Ashton from the car." He plopped down on the living room chair.

"Why couldn't your lazy ass do it?" I joked.

He sighed with over exaggeration. "I am damn tired. I've been tending to him all freaking night while Steph was in dream land." He covered his face with his hands. "I can't take it. I can't tell the last time I've gotten a full eight hour sleep."

"Aww, it's okay. Soon you'll get used to it." I made myself comfortable on the love seat.

"Hello, hello." Stephanie greeted as she walked into the living room with Daniel behind her and a 3 month old Ashton in his arms.

"Hey, Steph. How's it going? You look nice." I complimented her in a maxi dress. Her stomach was slowly retracting.

"Can't say the same for you." Cameron said and erupted into a knee-slapping laughter.

I narrowed my eyes at him knowing my hair looked wild. "I can't stand you."

Danny sat beside me clutching our God baby in his arms.

"Hi, baby." I smiled at Ashton as his little eyes beamed at me and he giggled.

"You good? Did you need something?" Daniel asked me as I tickled Ashton.

"No, I just woke up. I came looking for you."

He chuckled. "You keeping tabs on me?"

"Of course I am." I smiled. I got up and excused myself so that I could put myself together. "Shit," I hissed. I stepped on one of the shopping bags Diggy had dropped and the edge of the box made it feel like I was stabbed in the foot with a double-sided knife.

"Girl, let me help you with these." Steph joined me in the hallway and began to pick up the bags as I clutched my right foot in pain.

"Thanks so much, Steph."

"Come on, let's see if I'll hustle an item from these bags." She joked and walked back into the living room.

I limped behind her and pushed Daniel in his head.

"You know I hate when you do that." He said as his eyebrows furrowed in anger.

"You left those damn bags in the middle of the floor."

"You didn't pick them up neither."

"Whatever." I massaged the spot on the bottom of my foot. "What are those anyway?"

"Nothing." He mumbled as he rubbed Ashton's hair.

"What do you mean nothing?" I asked sort of irritated by his nonchalant attitude.

"Aren't those the gifts you got her yesterday?" Cameron asked as he rested his feet on Stephanie's lap only to have her push them off.

"Those were gifts I bought her." He said bluntly.

"Oh shit. India, what you do again?" Cameron asked suddenly excited.

I rolled my eyes. Both at Cameron for being stupid and the fact that Diggy was still upset about me speaking to Khalil. I thought he would sleep it off.
