India

"Hey aunty stinky stink." I gently rubbed my nose on Ashton's. I had him laying on his back stuffed between a baby pillow. "Hey you stinky stink." I did it again and this time he grinned widely showing off his pink gums. "Who's aunty's good baby boy? You are! Yes you are." I smiled down at him and he reached out to rub his little hand on my cheek. He pinched my cheek and laughed when I whined. "Ouch, Ash. That's not very nice."

"What he do?" Daniel entered my room and laid on my bed next to Ashton.

"He pinched my cheek." I sat up and straightened my black oversized T-shirt.

"Why you do that to your God-mom? Huh?" He made a silly face at Ashton who giggled and kicked his little feet excitedly. Danny picked him up and stood up with him.

"Be careful babe. Don't move him too much."

"Girl, hush. I know what I'm doing." He began dancing in place while patting his little back.

"My bad, genius." I stood up and rested an arm behind my back for support. I was five months pregnant and it was becoming a toll on my back to carry this child of mine. I could tell I was gonna have a chunky baby.

Cameron and Stephanie went out on a brunch date with her parents to discuss some wedding planning. So it was only right that they left Ashton in the hands of his trustworthy god parents.

"You feeling okay, baby?" Diggy asked.

I guess he noticed I seemed a little off. "Yeah, I just feel so nauseas." I threw up twice that morning already. Darn morning sickness.

"Here." He handed me a ginger ale with his free hand that was on his nightstand.

I sat on my bed and took it from him. "You knew I would be feeling like this, huh? What would I do without you?"

He laughed and continued to babble to Ashton. I drank down some of the ginger ale and frowned at the taste. It felt like I was drinking acid.

Daniel's phone began to ring and I looked at him as if daring him to answer it. I knew it was his goons calling for him to go handle "business".

He looked at me and shook his head. "Not today, India."

I sighed and picked up my phone to message Kendall. I wanted company because I knew Daniel would leave soon.

"Talk to me." I heard him answer the phone. He was swaying Ashton in one arm. "Deadass? Alright, bet. I'll be over there." He hung up the phone and tossed it on my bed. He stood looking out the large window and I heard him humming peacefully to Ashton. He was putting him to sleep.

I sat drinking my bubbly beverage as I too, listened to the gentle tone of his voice.

"La la lullaby. La la lullaby. Sing sing sing to Ashton. A la la lullaby." He repeated those lines a couple times until he walked over and placed a sleeping Ashton in his pillow.

I watched and admired how he handled him with so much care and kissed his forehead and his little hand. He looked up at me and started snickering.

"Why are you being a little creep just staring at me?"

I shrugged my shoulders and picked up my remote to find a show on Netflix while I waited for Kendall to come over. He walked over to my vanity and pulled his chain around his neck. I found it funny how most of his belongings always ended up in my room as if his room wasn't just a couple feet away. He looked through my drawers for something and walked out of my room. I looked next to me and noticed his Rolex sitting on my nightstand and I figured that's what he was looking for.
