(Another short one, but longer ones coming in the next few days! I just got back to school and I'm literally lying in a heap of schoolwork because it's my final year. I'm not sure how this will affect updates going forward, but they will become more consistent in the coming weeks. I just really don't want you guys to think I'm abandoning this book. I know I have a habit of starting books and then losing motivation, but I promise you, that is not the case here. I have so many ideas and so much motivation- I just haven't had the time to get them down. I'm not done with this episode, so I'll combine this part and the next to make them one big chapter.)

Y/N had asked if she could join and the Barrys said the more the merrier.
"Diana, Y/N!"
Called Anne, running towards the girls as the carriage they both rode in approached."Hello!"
Mr Barry called to the Cuthberts, getting out of the carriage with his wife as Anne got in.The adults had a short conversation and the Barrys got back into the carriage.

Minnie May complained before pressing her face up to the glass window and pulling faces.Y/N had her nose in a book (Little Women), and Anne and Diana were sitting and talking.
"Mr. Barry, I know it's indecorous to ask about financial matters, but I'm so curious about this gold business!"
Anne said excitedly.Y/N was disappointed that Anne had chosen to ignore her advice, but there wasn't much more she could do about it unless she could find definitive proof that Nate was lying. She had the microscope incident, but most people didn't understand that, or trust the word of a teenage girl against an actual geologist- or so he claimed.

Rollings said, looking at the letter."It was important to me that the form of the letter match its contents."
Anne responded. As Rollings and Anne were conversing, Y/N stood next to Josephine's chair.
Y/N looked around, checking that no one was watching before subtly leaning a bit closer and whispering
"Could I speak with you for a moment?"
Josephine simply nodded and rose from her chair, guiding Y/N into the hallway.
"What is the matter, Y/N?"
Josephine questioned kindly."I was just wondering if you could send this letter for me."
Y/N replied handing her a letter."Gilbert Blythe."
Read Josephine. She looked up at Y/N.
