Our conversation was interrupted by three men that entered the B&B. They looked strong, they were in their 40s but they still look young and strong. When she saw them Ciara stood up and asked them

—Hi gentlemen, how can I help you?

They looked at her and back at me, one of them was inspecting me as if I was a car he wanted to buy. I was ready to put into practice everything I've learned this past month.

—We are looking for a place to stay, do you have available rooms? –The tallest of them asked.

—Unfortunately we are fully booked for the whole week, but I can give you some recommendations of nearby places you can go check. –Ciara was being extremely polite, as if she knew these men meant danger.

—Mmmm I don't think so, love, we really want to stay here. –The tall one said to Ciara and he grabbed her arm.

—IDRIS. –I called in my mind. —Idris, the breakfast room, now.

Before I even finished my thought he appeared.

—Lads. –He said. —What are you doing here? –He was leaning against the arch of the door, he crossed his arms.

—Idris, what a coincidence to find you here.

One of the men, the one who was looking at me, approached me and sat by my side. My abilities had evolved and I could now hear everyone's thoughts.

The tall guy —Fuck, they didn't tell us it was Idris.

The little guy —They don't pay me enough for this.

And Idris —Cas, listen to me, don't use your powers, act human, don't do anything.

I answered with my thoughts. —Why? I can easily take them.

—We can not kill them, and if you erase their minds whoever sent them will know a mind omnia is here.

—-What should I do?

—-Be human, act scared and do nothing, whatever happens, don't use your powers you hear me?

—-Ok, I'll be me, a couple of months ago.

Don't use your powers, don't use your powers. I kept repeating in my mind. When the man sat beside me and placed his hand on my leg. I could have turned that hand into dust in a second, but I was going to do what Idris told me and play along.

—-Don't touch me. –I said.

—A fighter, I like a good fight. –He answered and moved his hand up my thigh.

In less than a wink Idris was next to me, he picked this guy up as if he was a feather and threw him against the dining room onto a table.

—Why are you here Cassius? –He said looking at the tall guy.

—There's something we were sent to check... –He said with a very calm voice.

—Well check it, and leave. –Idris had turned into the predator I remembered, and not the kind, funny man I had been spending time with.

—Whatever you want, old pal. –Cassius said and quickly moved to bite Ciara's neck.

Idris was quick again and pushed him away from her. It had only been a second so she was fine, she placed her hand on her neck and Idris told her to run and hide.

Cassius stood up and said —Tried one, one to go. –He looked at me.

The little guy asked —Was that her?
