BEAUTIFUL, live classical music filled the air as Kagami walked down the aisle in a gorgeous, white dress with a flower embroidered train. Felix stared in awe, not wanting to take his eyes off of her for even a second. She finally caught up to him, and held his hands while standing across from him.
Marinette and Adrien both sat beside the happy couple, on opposite ends. As Felix and Kagami smiled, reciting their vows, the bluenette and blond just shared escaping glances and smiles. They chuckled very lightly together at Felix's vows, since there were a couple of jokes in there that weren't quite received due to the man's monotone voice. Soon enough, time had passed, and it was about to be over.
"You may now kiss the bride." The officiator said, sealing the deal. Felix and Kagami embraced, then shared a light kiss. The crowd cheered, and clapped in applause. The newlyweds knew that they would be having their fair share of kisses later, and kept in mind that their relatives didn't want to see all of that.
The two walked away, back down the aisle, escaping to one of the rooms. They were going to come back in maybe ten-ish minutes to start the reception, but they needed a second to just relax. Once they had left, everyone stood up (if they were in seats) and rushed to talk with their friends and families. Marinette and Adrien immediately went to each other, giggling and fan-girling over the wedding. There was no doubt that Felix and Kagami were the perfect match for each other, and team Adrienette did not fail to see that.
"Hey, guys!" Alya called, running up to Marinette and Adrien, with Nino trailing behind her. She hugged Marinette, smiling.
"Alya, Nino!" Marinette responded, accepting the hug, "I haven't seen you guys in so long! How was the trip?"
"It was—" Nino tried to say, but was cut off.
"Amazing!" Alya finished, not realizing what she'd done. She was so excited, and giddy, "There were lots of cocktails, suntans, free time, and.." She impatiently raised her left hand, displaying a sparkly engagement band on her ring finger.
Marinette's jaw dropped to the floor, "Oh my god!" She took her best friend's hand and held her, jumping up and down together and squealing, "This is great! I told you he would do it."
"Well, I told him that she would 100% accept it." Adrien tuned in, smirking.
"Babe, why on earth would you think I wouldn't say yes?" Alya asked, now turning to her fiance and making a teasing pouty face.
"Just jitters, you know. Plus, with your career and everything.. I would get it if you declined." Nino shyly answered, just putting his hands into the pockets of his nice, black pants that matched his suit jacket.
"Never." Alya said, rushing to Nino and putting her arm around him. They both laughed, together at each other's touch.
Marinette and Adrien watched them, standing side by side, their arms slightly brushing past each other as they giggled at the sight. Once Nino and Alya had calmed down, the brunette girl's eyes went wide and she had a realization.
"Um, I'm sorry, Agreste, but I'm gonna have to steal your girl for just a second. Marinette, get your ass over here. Sorry, again. See you guys soon!" Alya hurried over to Marinette and dragged her away, off to another side of the venue.
"She's not my—" Adrien started.
"Shut up, Adrien." Nino rolled his eyes and chuckled, smiling.
Back with the girls, Alya was almost screaming at Marinette, "Girl, what happened?"
"What—what do you mean?" Marinette asked, slightly confused.
"I mean what happened with you and the blond boy Adrien." Alya clarified. Marinette choked slightly at the question, but she just sighed.
