"FUCK, Tikki, I'm so nervous!" Marinette says, pacing back and forth in the living room of her apartment.

"Don't freak out, Marinette." Tikki assures, trying to make things better. But, unfortunately, her words of encouragement did not work.

"Don't freak out? Don't freak out?" Marinette turns around and stomps towards Tikki, "The last time I saw Adrien, I practically dumped him and it definitely did not go as smooth as I planned. And now, I have to see him in what—" Marinette glances up at the red clock hanging on her wall, and her eyes go wide.

"Fifteen minutes? I'm doomed, Tikki. Kill me now." Marinette falls back and slumps into her couch, grabbing a pillow to cover her face. She feels some light wind as Tikki flies over to her.

"Marinette, I'm sure it'll all be fine. Worst case scenario, you guys will have to address it; best case scenario, you keep things work-professional."

Marinette reaches to take the pillow off of her face and throws it aside, "I guess. I just hoped it didn't have to be so awkward, you know? And I'm going to have to see him a couple more times before the fashion show ends. I don't know if I can continue meeting with him and not wishing that I could be with him."

Tikki sits on her holder's shoulder, "Awe, Marinette.. Are you that sure you can't date him? Do you really think something bad will happen because of it?"

"Well, that was the reason we couldn't reveal our identities before we defeated Hawk Moth, right? So why would it be any different this time?"

"Marinette.."

"What?"

"I know you really want to date him. Stop holding back and just shoot your shot! Don't let Shadow Moth stop you."

Marinette groaned, "You sound just like Alya."

"Well, that means I'm right."

Marinette got up and headed over to the kitchen, "It doesn't matter. I've already made up my mind. I'm just doing what's best for Paris."

"You have to learn to do what's best for you, first."

"You got this, you got this. Yeah. Yeah, you got this." Adrien was telling himself over and over again under his breath as he rode up the elevator in Marinette's apartment complex.

"Kid, you have got to calm down." Plagg scolded.

"Shut up." Adrien walked out of the elevator and down the hall to arrive at Marinette's place. He took a deep breath in, a deep breath out, and then knocked on the door.

He heard some light shuffling, and then footsteps that were slowly approaching, coming closer and closer. Adrien wiped his hands on his pants in preparation for what was to come.

The door swung open, "Adrien. Come in," Marinette moved aside to allow the blond to come inside. Once they were inside, Marinette quickly excused herself to go retrieve the first dress, which was in her room.

As soon as she left, Adrien put his hand over his eyes and just rubbed them. What was he doing here? There were so many unresolved feelings brewing and he didn't know how to contain them. In a way, he felt upset. But he knew he couldn't be upset at this girl.

"Um, okay, so here's the first one; the Kate Winslet dress that you've already seen." A dress came rolling out, a familiar one at that, "I'm going to go get the next one."

Marinette disappeared once again, leaving Adrien to just wait in the living room. She sure had found a smart way to avoid conversation.

Next came out a shimmery golden dress, which was covered in glitter. It was cinched at the waist and had a v-neckline. It was stunning, but the forest green dress that followed was even better. It was silky, and shined in the sunlight that was streaking through Marinette's windows. The dress had long, flowy sleeves and the skirt had a long train that made it look exquisite.
