Ch.10 Shes Mine

(Y/n's Pov)

"Well, you can't she's mine."
I feel my face get hot and red and I get butterflies in my stomach.
"Newt," I say in an embarrassed voice.
"What is true isn't it," he says smirking.
"Well yes, it's true."
We go to get our food and sit down at the table.
"Hi, flower."
"Hi, big forehead." I giggle.
"Y/n why are you calling me big forehead?"
"Well, it's a fact," I smirk.
"Ok, that was not nice."
"I know I'm sorry."
"It's ok flower."
"Ok, big forehead." Everyone at the table is laughing.
"Wow."
"Sorry," I say laughing.
"Newt."
"Yes, love."
"The target is back," I say smiling
"And so he is love but you are also back," Newt says happily
"Okay flower all I need to build is your last door then we can build the rest of your stuff like your closet and bed," Gally says with a straight face
"Thank you so much big forehead," I say laughing.
"Not funny flower not funny," he says with a serious face.
I walk over to him and pat his head messing up his hair and laugh "You know I'm playing right.".
"Ok, and it's still not funny." He chuckled.
"Oh yeah, then why are you laughing too,"
"Cuz you're talking about me," he says proudly.
"Okay then." I lean on Newt's shoulder.
After lunch.

"How long have I been here?" I ask
"Well you were knocked out for 3 days we did the bonfire then we did a Braek day so a week and a day counting today."
"Only one bloody week."
"Yes love you have been here for a week."
"Bloody hell it feels like I have been here longer than a week."
"Yeah, time flies by fast doesn't it."
"It sure does."
"Love lets go to our spot."
"Okay."

We walked through the woods making sure no one was following.
"We made it back," I say giggling
Newt chuckles "We sure did." I hug Newt.
"Newt you want to know what I just noticed?"
"What did you just notice love?"
"Well, I noticed I'm shorter than you."
"Yes, you are love but not by a lot. I'm only 5'10."
"True." I giggle "Lift me up. Just kidding don't do that." I say with a grin.
"Ok, but I will sometime soon." He says smiling.
"Oh wanna bet." 
"Ok, bet's on," Newt says with a smile.

I climb into the treehouse and build a bed frame and the bed is made out of stretchy and oddly comfortable vines.
"Where do we put the bed?" I say curiously.
"We will put it in that corner." He says with a smile.
"Okay."
I push the bed to the corner of the room and lay on it.
"Newt I think I'm going to take a nap. Do you want to take a nap with me?" I ask with a yawn.
"Of course love." He crawls onto the bed beside me.
"I love you Newt."
"I love you too my love."
I blush and close my eyes. We both fall asleep after 30 minutes.

2 hours before

(Newt's POV)

I'm watching Y/n put on her shoes and when she does she looks up at me I offer her my hand
I ask "Are you ready to see everyone looking at you like to be it's your first day here?" I wait for an answer and look down at the ground. Then I heard Y/n's voice echo in the room and in my head. Her voice is the best thing I have ever heard in my life. It's like a dozen angels singing I love her and her voice.
"No, but kind of," Y/n said with a smile.
I look at her then at her hand. I grabbed her hand and locked our fingers. I blush. Our fingers match like a puzzle.

We walk in and everyone looks at us and goes quiet. Then we hear whispers start to spread across the room. I look at Y/n and she looks nervous and kind of stands behind me. I look back at the crowd of graders.
One stands up and yells "Are you and Y/n boyfriend and girlfriend?" I blush when I hear the question.
"Why are you guys holding hands?" another glader stands and yells. Questions start filling the room.
Alby stands up and yells "Everyone quiet." everyone goes silent. "Give them a chance to answer okay."
"Ok, so someone asked Are you boyfriend and girlfriend and someone else asked why we were holding hands. I'm going to answer this truthfully. Yes, we are boyfriend and girlfriend and that is why we are holding hands." silence fills the room then mumbles.
Then this one glader stands you and says"Oh man, I wanted to ask her out."
I got frustrated with what he had just said so I said
"Well sorry you can't she's mine." I blush noticing what I had just said. Then I hear Y/nvoicee I look at her and she is all red and adorable
"Newt,"
"What is true isn't it," I say smirking with a blush on my face.
"Well yes, it's true," she said softly.
We go to get our food and sit down at the table.

I sit down before Y/n does and I look at everyone at our table. "So you and Y/n are a thing now," Gally said in a mad tone.
"Yes, we are why?"
"Oh it's nothing" He glares at me then he goes completely normal when Y/n sits at the table.

After lunch, we went to mine and Y/n's tree house.
"We made it back," Y/n said with a cute giggle I blushed.
I chuckle "We sure did." 
Y/n hugs me and I hug back smiling
"Newt you want to know what I just noticed?" I get curious and ask "What did you just notice love?" her voice comes back immediately.
"Well, I noticed I'm shorter than you." I look at her and smirk.  "Yes, you are love but not by a lot. I'm only 5'10." I laugh and she says  "True." and giggles
Then she says "Lift me up. Just kidding don't do that." she says with a grin.
I look at her and say "OK, but I will sometime soon." I say smiling
Y/n comes back with "Oh wanna bet." 
I say "Ok, bet's on," I say with a smile.

We get in the treehouse and Y/n starts to build a bed. Thirty minutes later the bed is built and she puts it in the corner of the tree house. I hear Y/n's voice once more "Newt I think I'm going to take a nap. Do you want to take a nap with me?" she asked with a yawn. I smirk
"Of course love." I crawl onto the bed beside Y/n. I wrap my arm around her and blush.
I hear Y/n say "I love you Newt."
I blush and say
"I love you too my love." and I kiss her cheek.
I blush and close my eyes. All I can think of is Y/n and I will have a dream of her she is so sweet and kind and loving I love her. I fall asleep thinking of her.
