Chapter 8

The last thing I could remember was that I was walking along with my mate, and now I'm in some dankly basement of my kidnappers. I could tell that they werewolves but that was all, and they were male. None of them were an important wolf in their pack, but they obviously had a grudge against gay guys, or me?

I shifted a bit on the cold ground. My hands were chained behind me, they were smart enough to do so with tough metal so I couldn't break out, which I'd tried. It'd been three days since I've seen him, and it was so hard without anything of his. I had my phone on me, but they stole it, and I think they are trying to get into it, but I'm not quite sure. I sighed and flexed my hands, I knew I could get my hands out if I really tried, but I'd cut and rip my skin, which I didn't want to happen.

I fell asleep since there was nothing to do. I was woken up by the door opening and a kid bringing in some food for me. Out of all of them, I liked this kid the best since he would bring me food and would smile. He sat down beside me and started to feed me like he always did. We never talked, but what could we talk about? Why am I here? What did you do with my mate? I already asked the men, and they didn't say anything, only beat me.

I ate quietly, the boy smiled at me when I ate from his hands. I could tell that he was only 12 or so cause of his size. After he finished feeding me he left. As the door closed I sighed. I had to figure out a way to get out of here, but how!?!

I fell back asleep and dreamt of my mate coming to rescue me, his strong arms wrapping around me and telling me that it was okay. Then taking me back home. I woke up slowly, not wanting to leave the dream. I sighed when I thought about the dream and home. I used to life in Ireland with my pack, but it all changed one day.

---FLASHBACK!! Nine years ago---

I was playing in the field with my big brother, like we always did. He had me pinned in are wrestling match. I heard a gunshot go off near the house, we both flinched and ran back home. A weird scent was coming from the house...death. We ran inside and crept through the house until my brother went into the kitchen, I went to follow but he pushed me out and ushered me out of the house. He told me to start running. So I did.

We ran beside each other in are wolf forms for a few hours until we made it back to the pack. It was to quiet in the small village we lived in. As we walked through the streets to the alpha's house it was as if the pack had all vanished. When we got to the alphas house we found out why.

Everyone was dead and pilled up in front of the alpha's house, with the alpha's family on the top. We both whimpered in unison and started to run again. Are pack was dead and we didn't know where to run, I said why not are parents. My brother only said because.

We made camp for the night at a waterfall and my brother left me to hunt. I tended the fire until he came back, which wasn't after a few minutes. He came back with a deer.

"It's not a good dinner but its something," my brother said. His name was Aidan. He looked exactly liked me except bigger in every way.

"It's fine big brother," I said with a smile, he smiled back at me. I was only ten while he was thirteen. "Who do you think did that?" I knew he what I meant.

"I have no idea little bro," he said and started to cook the food.

"Where's mommy and daddy?" I asked innocently.
