Chapter 19

Chaper 19

>Danny’s POV<

I walked up the stairs and knocked on my door. I waited until Ryan answered, but it just didn’t come. “Ryan? Can I come in?”

“Why wouldn’t you be able too?” He answered with an angry tone.

“Cause I don’t know if you want to see me,” there was a long pause before he finally answered.

“Oh….” I rested my head on the door.

“So can I come in?”

“Yes,” I opened the door slowly and walked in.

“Are you still mad at me?”

“I wasn’t mad,” I walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge. “I was upset, and I’m not upset anymore.”

“Okay good,” I crawled on top of the bed until I came close to Ryan. He lifted up one of his feet and put it on my shoulder gently. He pushed me away gently.

“I’m still not happy with you though,” I let out a little whimper, but backed off.

“Okay sorry,” he sighed and tucked his knees up to his chest. I looked down at my hands before looking back at him with a slight frown.

“Baby, don’t do that,” I looked back down. The bed creaked a bit as he moved, he cupped my face and brought it up so he could look me in the eyes. “I still love you, but I’m just a little upset with you.”

“What was the foot thing about?”

“I was being playful,” I moved again and had him on his back with myself hovering over him. “But I don’t want to be that intimate with you yet.” I let out another whimper.

“Okay,” I backed off again. He got up, sat beside me and rested his head on my shoulder.

“Danny I’m your mate, I will always love you, but I will get mad at you sometimes, okay?”

“I understand,” he placed a hand on my thigh and started to rub my leg gently.

“Okay good,” he kissed my cheek gently. “I heard the car. Is it fast?”

“Like you wouldn’t believe,” I said with a big smile. “Wantta go for a ride?”

“You know it,” he got up and raced down the stairs before I could even get up. “You coming slow poke!?”

“Well I’m sorry I didn’t sprint out of the room, I said with a laugh as I started the walk down the stairs.

>Lachlan’s POV<

I sat there with my head in my mate’s lap. He was currently playing some video game against his little brother, who I found adorable, especially when he was losing against my mate. It was even better when my mate was losing against him, they both made these little faces that were so cute.

I still couldn’t get over the fact that he’d found me, after all these years. The one man that I feared more then anyone else. He was pure evil, but he was so smart at what he was doing! I’d only met him once, and he didn’t even know it until I left the building.

-Flashback 2 years ago-

I stepped into the restaurant and asked for a single seat. I hadn’t had real food in so long, I needed to eat something other then a deer or a rabbit. The waiter took me to a table and gave me a menu.

“I’ll be back in a minute to take your order,” the man said and left my table. I could hear everything that was being said in the small restaurant, a voice in particular grabbed my attention.

“Sweetie I’ll be home soon, after the mutt is dead…yes I know, but its been seven year now, and if…I know that it was only a rumour, but my men know when to listen and when not too,” the voice paused for a long second, and I took that to my advantage. I started to locate the person who was talking, I could smell him, and being the only other werewolf in the building I hoped he didn’t. “I miss you too, I really miss Ireland, its beauty almost matches yours.”

“Sir, have you decided on what you’d like to eat?” The waiter came back.

“Not yet, but could I get a coke and some of these to start with,” I said pointing at some random starter.

“Of course sir, I’ll be right back with your drink,” I gave the man a fake smile before I went back to listening in on the guy.

“So how is the pack doing without me?…That’s good, I knew you and my beta could handle things.………Just send out a few of are war wolves, I’m sure the pack only needs a demonstration of are strength for them to smarten up and obey us.”

“Here’s your order, have you decided what you’d like to eat yet?”

“No not yet,” I said, getting agitated.

“I’ll be back in a few minutes, I do hope that your ready,” with that the waiter left.

“I do hope that your ready,” I growled lowly under my breath. I finally got a look at the man who was hunting me. So he was an alpha? This isn’t good, I really need to get out of here, now! I looked around and saw my waiter talking to another group of people. I quickly got up and walked right behind the alpha that was chasing me, I took a good whiff of his scent before quickly leaving the restaurant. I turned and looked him right in the eyes before I finally escaped. He looked shocked, and angry that he let me get out of his grasp so easily.

-End of flashback-

I had learned that his name was Lycaon from an alpha that took me in after I told them what had happened in my life…that pack was short lived after I arrived.

I was taken out of my thoughts when Klen started to growl loudly at his big brother. “You cheated!” He declared, crossing his arms over his chest and pouting.

“No I’m just better then you,” Arturo said with a big smile. Klen reared his arm back and wiped the controller he was holding at my mate. Arturo grabbed it out of the air with ease. “Don’t throw the controllers! And stop being such a sore loser!”

“I’m not! Your just being a big cheater!” I got up and walked over to Klen.

“Hey its okay,” I said, kneeling down so that I was at eye level, “Arturo is a big cheater, that’s how he always wins.” I said with a big smile. “That’s why I don’t play video games with him.”

“No its cause you can’t play them,” I waved him off.

“Okay?” Klen nodded with a big smile, I opened up my arms and hugged the little pup, who gladly hugged me back. I picked him up and held him in my arms. “How about some ice-cream?”

“Ya!” He said happily
