This chapter might be very boring, I apologize in advance.
>Danny's POV<
Chapter 15
We stepped into the pack house, it was filled with all the pack members, thank god there's a space the size of a football field for where we collect the pack. From the hall, doors lead off into different room, there was a second floor. The house was set up sort of like a prison, in how, the rooms open up to the hall, and they are all along the sides on to floors without a ceiling above, where people stood. A small hallway branched off leading to the kitchen, rec. room, and further to a gym, with a swimming pool. Most of the pack collected here during the day to work out, or hang out. Only orphans and caretakers live inside this building, so they take care of it. Being the alpha I had to know all the orphan wolves, it was depressing since some of them were only little kids. I tried to come and visit them the most so I can at least make them happy, but it was hard to find time during school, but I've been visiting them more often since summer started.
We all followed my dad up onto the stage, the kits were behaving themselves, and if anything were scared of all the werewolves. Zach was glancing around looking for someone, possibly his mate, but that's just my thoughts. A group of war wolves, these big burly guys, walked up to my dad. Like all war wolves, or just are's, they were clean cut and look like they could be real nice, I've only really met a few, and I could tell that they were only being friendly cause of who I was. They whispered something to my dad and they started a small conversation. Another group walked by, they were all teenagers by the look of it, one of them stopped and was staring at are group.
I followed the war wolves gaze and it landed Zach. I gulped, I hope that it wasn't what I thought. The war wolves stood a freakishly tall height, I think his name is Kevin. I remember my dad saying something about him to me a year or two back. Apparently he was one of the biggest war wolves ever, standing over 10 feet tall I wasn't surprised. He also mentioned something about how he was more in control of his wolf then any other war wolf, also that he was the nicest. I had have never meet him, but from the looks of him he doesn't look that friendly. He had jet black hair and red eyes, his tanned skin was cored with muscles, he looked fierce.
He started to walk towards Zach at a normal pace. My dad saw this and snapped at him, Kevin didn't budge just kept approaching. My dad walked in front of him and a low growl came from Kevin, the room fell silent and everyone turned towards their alpha and the giant war wolf.
"Stand down Kevin," my dad warned.
"Then move," he said through his growl.
"They are, are guest, don't touch them," Kevin's eyes went blank quickly. Zach ran up to my dad quickly.
"He...he's my mate," he whispered, my dad looked back up at Kevin.
"Is he?" Kevin nodded and my dad moved out of his way. Zach walked up to Kevin slowly eyeing him with a smile.
"Hey," Kevin smiled down at his smaller mate.
"Hi," Zach moved closer and they started to talk in whispers. My dad tapped Zach on the shoulder, Kevin glared at him and growled lowly. "Ya?" Zach asked, looking back at him.
"Say bye to your mate for now, we need you on stage right now with your family," my dad said with a small smile.
"Alright, I'll see you after the speech thingy," Zach said smiling up at his mate.
"Okay," Kevin leaned down and kissed Zach on the lips, who looked pretty shocked at it, but soon went with it. The two of them separated and Zach walked back to him family, Kevin turned around on the spot he was at and was now looking at the stage. We continued and got up onto the stage. Are pack was three thousand strong, so it was hard to hide all of us, but we manage.
