“Say it’s true, there’s nothing like me and you. Tell me you feel it too, and I would run away with you.”

It was night time, everyone had already gone to bed and the darkness settles in. Well, almost everyone, Skeppy and Badboyhalo were not asleep.

In fact, they were arguing…again.

“Skeppy! How could you even suggest that!” Bad screeched. Skeppy groaned infuriated and tired, “ I’m saying this place sucks! The people here are all a bunch of assholes! They put a collar on you dammnit!”

Badboyhalo paused for a moment to tug nervously at the slightly suffocating collar around his neck, “ It’s a welcome gift Skeppy…they were just trying to be nice…”

Badboyhalo looked downcast and averted his eyes to stare at the floor instead.

Skeppy, more annoyed at the fact Bad either wasn’t listening or didn’t want to accept it, hollered, “ Oh for God’s sake Bad it’s not a gift!”

Skeppy then slammed his fists on the coffee table inraged. Resulting in a large crack in the middle and diamond shards peaking out of his knuckles acting as claws.

“ They think you are a monster! They think we are monsters! We aren’t human Bad and they sure as hell know that!”

Tears peaked Bad’s eyes at the jab in his heart.

Skeppy was right, but he just couldn’t accept that after months of staying and bonding with the others…

they will never see them as equals. That they will only ever be viewed as monsters…but he couldn’t run away.

Not without telling the others at least…
With a heavy heart, Bad held back the tears and decided to at least bid Skeppy a farewell before he left.

“I-I’m sorry Skeppy…but I can’t just leave without saying anything, this is my home now, I can’t go…I-I bid you a farewell, please be safe, you’re my best friend Skeppy.”

Shocked at how Bad was willing to stay despite knowing the truth and accepting it broke his heart.

But what tore it apart was the fact that Bad was willing to let Skeppy go so easily, that he’d rather lose him forever than runaway with him…

They stared at each other for what felt like hours. Skeppy shocked and heartbroken and Bad absolutely devastated.

After some time, Skeppy mustered up the courage to speak, “You…you idiot….well, I suppose since this is the last time I will ever see you I’ll just say it now…”

“I love you Bad. Not as friends but more. From the start I have loved you. You are everything to me, we have a friendship so precious, and I can’t bear the thought of losing you…please-”

Skeppy couldn’t bear to look at Bad anymore and turned around ready to head out the door, “ Never mind…I’m sorry I put this bombshell on you, I-I’ll just leave…”

Before Skeppy could exit the door, he suddenly got spun around and enwrapped in a tight bear hug. “ Oh Skeppy…I feel the same way…”

Badboyhalo confessed holding him ever so closely, afraid to let go. As if he didn't hug him tight enough...he might try leave.

That broke Skeppy. He sobbed and grabbed at his cloak, in a second, he hoisted himself up and kissed him.

It was a bit messy, both their first kiss.

But oh…did it feel just right. At  the moment, it felt like everything just vanished…it was just them. 

At that moment, Skeppy realised that He would stay anywhere for the rest of his life as long as Bad was there with him and Badboyhalo realised that he would go anywhere at any pace as long as Skeppy was by his side.

They are each other’s everything and they would never have to part.

For as long as they were together, they were happy.
