Chapter 14: The Talk

I am so excited to go spend time with Jade. Now I just need to figure out what to wear. I am looking through the clothes I brought with me and decided on ripped skinny jeans and a black crop top. I kept my hair the same way as before and put on my Jordan's.

When Paige and Azzi entered the room they gave me the sign of approval.

Paige- The way you look tonight, Jade is definitely going to rethink that answer to the reporter.

Azzi- she would be crazy not to.

After that we grabbed our things and made are way over to the softball house.

When we got there the party was in full swing. We walked inside the house and looked around a bit. Honestly it is definitely a good living space. We even get to see the championship trophy on display in the trophy case.

I remember the video clips of Jade during that game. Seeing the fight and that drive. It was definitely a shining moment for her. I'm proud of her and I definitely believe that her team can do it again this year.

At that moment I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around to see the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life.

Jade- Hey I was wondering when I would find you here. This party is crazy.

But it is all for you.

We hugged each other and then she grabbed my hand and lead me around to show me where everything is. At the end of the tour she brought me to the kitchen and that's where I found the rest of my team. I introduced Jade to the rest of the team, and she went around hugging each of them.

After the introductions, she lead us out back where they had beer pong and other games happening. Plus the dance floor. We all went our separate ways except for me I wanted to stay with Jade. I watched her step up on the dance floor. She started to dance and I was blown away because she can definitely dance. She was definitely putting on a show. She found my sister on the dance floor and they started to dance together.

I started to get a little jealous, but I know my sister and how she feels about Jade. They think of each other as sisters. Jade try's to persuade me to come dance with them but I just shook my head.
I see them talk real quick before leaving the dance floor. They both look at me with smiles on their faces.

Hana- Okay we have a bet for you if Jade beats you at beer pong you have to come dance with us.

What do I get if I when.

Jade- I guess you have to decide. So I guess anything you want.

Well I definitely accept the bet.

I saw the competitive smile on Jade. That basically kills me. We walked over to a beer pong table and she told me that I can go first. Which was a bad decision on her part because I made it into the first cup on my first try. She drank it and then she returned the favor by making it in. I looked at her and said "oh it's on".

The game starts to become who can miss a cup first. Until we only had one cup each, but before I could shoot my shot she looked into my eyes and started to smirk and then she leans over which causes me to look down. I know what she is doing. She is trying to distract me so I would miss. But I don't have to see to make this shot. I lined myself up and then covered my eyes. I took the shot and the crowd cheers saying that there's a new champion in the house.

I uncovered my eyes and looked at Jade from across the table from me. She was clapping her hands and said well played. I walked over to her, and she asks me "What now ". I whispered in her ear saying I am not cashing in my win tonight.
