A month after the wedding, we still continued to have a rest from work and had our honeymoon. Of course, Lisa can't really rest because of her job, but she makes sure that she is still looking after the country and its status while we're on vacation.
We spent the whole month living in Norway and rented a home where we got to see the Aurora Borealis every night, we tried activities just for ourselves. We realized that travelling to another country just together still proves how compatible we are.
God, how do I thank you for all that is happening?
My Lisa makes me really really happy everyday.
We went back to France after a month and Lisa's back on her grind too.
I am also busy with my org groups and we have a lot of future activities to prepare.
I am happy that our group that supports abused women are now up and we get to help them in our ways. My wife is so proud of what I'm doing. It even made her cry in one of her speeches like how I changed her persepective in life and how I made her a better version fo herself for making her realize a lot of things that need much of her attention for the nation.
I was praised by the public for creating beautiful groups that help the silenced ones to reach out and we'll make solutions for the problem. But as what I always say on interviews, the credit is not on me nor to Lisa. Because this is not just a job, this is our duty. And it is just right that as the First Lady of France, we give people the service they deserve. Everyone is equal. Period.
When I am interviewed, I tell people that this is not just me. The truth is, Lisa inspires me a lot!
I always seek for Lisa's advice in everything I do. She also does seek for my thoughts in everything she is going to do.
I love us.
But of course, life is not just about us working.
We also have our personal lives to look at.
After our wedding, we talked about having a baby. We agreed and we really made sure every lovemaking can bring out something that we are praying for— our first born.
As soon as I felt the symptoms in my body, I took a blood test with the help of Jisoo to look for a hospital that holds confidentiality and she is so swift in guiding me.
So, the result is positive!
I am pregnant!
I also took a PT test through a kit just for this hype and cliche procedure. But the serum test is more reliable and accurate. The kit showed positive result too.
One morning, after I cooked breakfast, I took a yellow rose from our garden and taped a small note on it.
Lisa is still falling asleep deeply. But it's time for her grind already so I woke her up.
Through my sweet kisses they she likes.
I kissed her lips gently.
"Baby..."
Kissed her more with tenderness.
"Wake up now."
Brushed the tip of my nose to hers.
"Good morning, my love."
Kissed her again and she opened her eyes smiling at me.
"Good morning, my love"
She greeted me.
Then I placed the rose in front of her eyes and she took it and she is blushing.
"Oh. You're so sweet. I love you, Jennie. Nothing can beat my mornings seeing my wife.
I love you so much!"
She said and still in her bedroom voice.
I just kept smiling at her.
And she read the small note.
"Good morning, Dada."
She reads it and still stretching her body.
