Lisa drives me to my place.
She is aware that Clem lives with me in my apartment since he was diagnosed with cancer.
I was able to hire a caregiver for him since I have decided to live with Lisa.
We stepped inside my place and the mood is too dreary. The sun lights the living area through the window as the curtains sway.
It's too quiet.
The caregiver is preparing Clementine's lunch at the kitchen.
I entered the room where Clem is and Lisa just stayed outside the door while peeking.
He saw me and his face glows in joy.
He lifted his body up. I noticed he is a bit weak. His eyes could tell.
"Jen, you're here."
He said and hugged me when I sat on the bed beside him.
"Clem, I am here to just get my stuff. I am living with Lisa now. I found her. I promise I will take care all of your medical needs."
I said.
His brows fought.
He is trying to gather his words.
"What? Jen, what about me?
Can we just get back together just like before? I will be okay. Promise, I wouldn't be a burden to you."
He said while his eyes are becoming teary.
"Clem, you were never a burden to me. I understand your situation. I love you but but it's no longer the love I had for you before. It's still her. I am still in love with Lisa. You know that, right? And you know I am pregnant. I need Lisa too. She needs me too. We're in love, Clem.
I hope you understand."
I said caressing his face.
He suddenly got angry. It's my first time to see him like this.
"No! Let's get back together. I can't live without you, Jennie."
He said brushing his head and pulling his hair while looking down.
"We already talked about this. I thought it's clear. What happened? Why all of a sudden, you want us to get back? You already agreed right?"
I asked. He is not talking and still looking down.
I came near him and hugged him but he pushed me hard. My body was thrown from the bed to the side of the room and found myself on the floor.
"You motherfucker!"
Lisa entered the room and guided me to get up. She let go of me and pulled Clem's shirt.
I know Lisa. She has a lot of patience and would never really go on a fight. But when it comes to my safety, she would do everything.
"So, you are Lisa. Good-looking.
Hmmm. Jennie told me a lot about you.
But I have just confirmed now that you have a weird thing down there because my girlfriend wants to stick with you. This slut is so much into fucking and I can't give it that to her that's why she's like a leech to you."
Wow! I am surprised. It's the first time I heard Clementine speak like that about me.
I want to disappear.

Lisa didn't say a word. I just found her punching and throwing her fist on the guy's face.
"Lisa, stop it. Love, please. Stop!"
She is still throwing hits on his face.
I approached and touched her shoulder and she stopped.
She pushed him back to bed.
"Never let me hear anything bad about Jennie."
She said while I lean my chest on her arm on the side and holding her hand for she might punch him again.
Lisa tightened her grip on my hand as our fingers intertwined and pulled me out from the house.
She is driving and we're both quiet. We're actually heading to nowhere.
