Luisa tried not to meet her friends' eyes as they sat in the diner having brunch. Selina always liked having brunch for her birthday, which would be in two days. Coincidentally, it had also been two days since the incident with Seokjin, and her friends could talk about nothing else.

With a loud sigh, Luisa put down her mimosa. "I suppose you guys are never going to let it go, huh?"

Megan glanced at Selina before turning back to Luisa with a wide smile. "Not until you tell us how it was. Come on, Lulu. We've been wondering about nothing else."

"I get that."

Selina shook her head. "Lu, we're not trying to be in your business, but you've got to understand that this is big news. This is the exact type of news you should be sharing with your besties. It'll be my birthday soon, and I'd like the gift of the explanation with details."

"I can't believe you really want to know," Luisa grumbled. "Fine, okay. I slept with him. There. Happy?"

"Not even close, missy," Megan replied. "You had sex with Kim Seokjin. Kim Seokjin! We'd appreciate a few details. We already know you slept with him. I mean, we heard it." She looked at Selina. "You guys must've done it—what? Three times? We heard you screaming and howling and saying his name."

Selina giggled and sipped her drink.

Luisa felt the heat rise in her cheeks. "Please stop. I was...I was drunk, okay? I didn't know what I was doing."

"The bed was hitting the wall, sweetie," Megan said, her eyebrow raised. "I think you all knew what you were doing."

"Okay, then. I didn't know what I was saying," Luisa continued.

A wicked gleam shone in the redhead's eyes. "It sounded something like...Oh, Jin, oh my God, oh Jin, oh yes."

"Shhh," Luisa waved a hand at her. "Meg, shut up!" Megan Avery had a way of making you talk about things that you tried in vain to keep private.

Megan was one of her roommates, but she was not a university friend. Luisa had met Megan when she started working at a department store at the mall. The tall, pretty redhead was so easy to talk to. Despite her brashness, she was a very kind soul. While some of the other girls in the store avoided Luisa because they resented college girls, Megan was extremely nice to her. So when Megan told her that she might have to move back to her hometown because she couldn't afford rent, Luisa and Selina offered to share an apartment with her.

Megan actually hit it off even better with Selina even though they were polar opposites. Megan was outgoing, loud, and vivacious, while Selina was the typical prim, preppy princess. But their friendship worked. They ended up sharing one of the bedrooms in their apartment until Selina's father moved them into a nicer three-bedroom place. On Selina's request, he paid the difference so that the girls would keep paying the same rent as the two bedroom place.

However, being roommates must have given them all the opportunity to be listening and running commentary on Luisa's night with Seokjin. Luisa closed her eyes. Why had she done something so stupid?

"I guess he's as good as everyone says," Selina murmured as she cut up the pancake neatly on her plate. "I thought it was something of an urban legend. I mean, how can a guy our age be so skillful, right?"

"Maybe you've been dating the wrong guys," Megan said. "Not all young guys are worthless." She turned her gaze on Luisa. "However, making you scream like that three times, well, that is unusual. He must be legendary. So, come on, Lulu. Spill. Did you really oh three times? Is he that good?"

Luisa exhaled. "You guys, this is so embarrassing."

"Why?" Megan persisted. "Why would good sex be embarrassing? We all know you needed it after that stuck-up bastard dumped you. What better revenge than to have the best sex of your life." She paused. "Gosh, we should've recorded it then sent it to that piece of garbage."

Selina giggled. "She's right. Charlie would have hit the roof if he'd heard you with another man. And it would serve him right for what he did to you. Believe me, he's not all that. He looks like an uptight narcissist. And he's short."

Megan chuckled. "Exactly. His feet were so small which probably meant that his dick was microscopic."

"Shhh!" Luisa admonished her again, glancing around the noisy restaurant.

"Which leads to our first question," Selina said. "Is it true that Seokjin is blessed in that department?"

Megan planted her elbows on the table and stared at Luisa, waiting for her reply.

Luisa took another sip of her drink. "Um..."

"Blink once for yes, twice for no," Selina offered.

Both girls squealed a moment later.

"You blinked once," Megan exclaimed.

"No, I did not," Luisa said quickly. "I'm just blinking like a normal human."

Megan laughed louder. "We knew it! When we heard the commotion going on in your bedroom, we knew that he must be packing. We never heard a sound when Charlie was over."

Luisa shook her head. "You all are terrible."

"Next question!" Megan piped up. "How many positions did you all try? I mean, Charlie looked like the world's most boring missionary man."

"Oh, I am not going to talk about that," Luisa began and noticed how both of her friends leaned forward. With a shake of her head, she changed the topic to their future plans.

Megan scoffed. "Future plans? I'm going to keep working at the mall and end up with some minimum-wager boyfriend while you two college graduates move on to your nice jobs and professional husbands. Enough of future plans. Why won't you tell us about Seokjin? You told us so little, yet that sounded like heaven," she said. "Sexual prowess plus that face and body. Now I understand all the noise."

Selina cleared her throat. "So, Lu, are you two going to start dating?"

Luisa shook her head. "Oh, no. No. We're not...Seokjin and I are not serious. Why would someone like him want someone like me?"

Megan clicked her tongue. "There you go again. The question is why wouldn't he want someone like you?"

"I think he just felt he couldn't turn me down after I acted the way I did," Luisa replied. "I threw myself at him. Maybe he felt he didn't have a choice."

Selina shook her head adamantly. "Not so. He wasn't with you out of pity. If that were the case, it would've been a one and done. He took his time with you that night. He wanted to make you happy."

"Exactly," Megan agreed. "That wasn't a pity fuck. That was an all-out effort on his part. He was trying to impress you. He wanted you to enjoy yourself. He did have a choice, and he made it. Several times by the sound of it."

"Meg's right," Selina jumped in. "He didn't bolt for the door. He even spent the night. Besides, I think that he's always had his eye on you."

"No—"

"Yes," Selina went on. "I've seen the way he looks at you when he thinks no one is watching. His eyes shine. I often wondered why you never saw that."

Luisa shook her head again and looked down. "You forget that I was with Charlie. I would've never looked at another guy."

"And now you're not," Megan said. "So, what's stopping you?"

Luisa asked herself that question many times in the days that followed. She had her finger poised over Seokjin's number at least three times in a week, but she never went through with the call.

They had to keep their relationship friendly. Anything beyond that was not what she needed right now. She was sure that he was still reeling from his own break-up, and the last thing he needed was for his drunken hook-up to start calling him. No. It was best that they forgot what happened and moved on.
