Chapter 6 ( Sidney's P.O.V)

I wake up to someone knocking at my door. I then get off my bed and open the door to see my two moms and my brother. I just give them a confused look "Happy birthday!" they scream I then change my confused expression into a shocked one, to be honest, I even forgot my own birthday I then smile widely at them and we then have a family hug "thanks guys" I whisper to them they then let go "Get ready for school sis I'm taking you" I just nod and smile then close my door I then get ready into a white skirt and a black crop top with a leather jacket and some crocs I then walk out of my room "Ready!" I yell at my brother's door "K just a minute" he yells back.

After my brother drops me off at school I went in to see my best friend Maya "Hey girl!" she yells from her lockers I just wave and head over to her "Hey" I finally say to her "Happy Bday bestie!" she yells I just smile "Thanks" I say putting my bag in my locker "Oh yea don't tell anyone but I heard we have a new student" she says whispering. "Who told you this," I asked her "Let's just say little birdy," she says smiling and shrugging we just started talking till after a few minutes the bell rang and we then headed into class we then sit in our usual seats I then went on my phone for a little while I look up to see our teacher Mr. Miles he is pretty tall he's 39 and has curly black hair and hazel eyes "Okay class we have a new student please introduce yourself," Mr. Miles says " Uh hi my name is Jaylen Myers and I just turned 16" wow he's hot! I think to myself he has black curly hair with dark brown eyes and a nose-piercing man! I then blush a little "Well Mr. Myers you can sit next to Ms.Rodriguez" Mr. Miles says as he points to me Jaylen then looks up at me smiling he just walks over and sits next to me.

"Hey" he whispers smiling at me even more " Oh hi m-my name's Sidney," I say stuttering a little he just chuckles "Nice to meet you Sidney" he exclaims.

After class, it was lunch. "Did you see the new kid, he's so hot!" Maya says I just chuckle "Yeah" she then starts giggling "What," I ask her "Ah nothing," she sighs and wipes a fake tear from her eye. I just roll my eyes.

After school ends, I walk home. When I get home the lights are off and it seems like no one is there. I then turn on the lights to see my family and friends. I then have a shocked look on my face and I start to smile widely " Wow! Thanks, guys!" I say hugging everyone "No problem sis" my brother says. After singing birthday songs I finally blow out my candles and everyone shouts and smiles. After the party, I am so tired so I just sleep in my school clothes.
