Chapter 7 (Maxine's P.O.V)

I wake up to see my mom standing right over me. I just groan "Morning sweetie," she says smiling. I smile and nod. After she leaves I get dressed in black ripped jeans and a white crop top with some black Air Forces. I then walk out of my room me and my mom live in a two bedroom Apartment near my high school I step into the kitchen to see my mom made some Eggs and Sausages and left me a note "Hey sweetie I'll be working late so there are some leftovers in the fridge" I sigh leftovers again I think \I eat my breakfast, grab my bag and walk to school.

As I got to school I saw my friends Alex, Hunter, Noah, and Hayden "Sup guys" I said walking over to them "Hey Max" Alex said "Sup" "Hey!" Hayden and Huntersays. (They're twins.) Noah just waves. I then put my bag into my locker as I put my hair into a high messy bun "So you guys hear were having a new student" I say they all just give my confused looks "Really" Alex asked tilting his head "And who told you this" Hunter says rolling his eyes "Someone" I say laughing they all just groan. Later in class, our teacher Ms. Reszendez introduces a new student... And man she's hot! "Ok class meet our new student please introduce yourself" the girl just Nods "Hi my name is Ivy Myers." She says. "Please take a seat next to Alexander," the teacher says, pointing at Alex. " It's just Alex" I shout knowing Alex hates it when people call him Alexander. She then walks up to Alex and sits beside him. She then starts talking to him.

At lunch, we are having a conversation and talking and then Ivy walks up and clings to Alex's Arm "Hey Ally!" Ally? I think to myself. she says smiling. He just smiles awkwardly "H-hey Ivy," he says trying to get her off her arm. I just try not to laugh at the scene but Hunter and Hayden start laughing Alex just glares at them.

Noah then pulls them apart and puts his arm around Alex "Hey guys" Noah says smiling I then look at Ivy to see if she's mad. Like really mad like I can see smoke coming out of her ears. I couldn't hold in my laugh Alex just glared at me "I'm sorry!" I say still laughing After school Me and Alex walk out of the school when we see Noah standing there waiting for Alex I just nod to Alex as we walk in different directions As I got home I had some leftover spaghetti After I was done I took a shower after I was done showering I got changed into some black shorts and black crop top And I texted Alex before I went to bed.
