(Not me debating to put the famous quote from Eclipse here lol. Also I HAVE to: AND YOU CALL ME UP AGAIN JUST TO BREAK ME LIKE A PROOMISE! SO CASUALLY CRUEL IN THE NAME OF BEING HONEST I'M A CRUMPLED UP PIECE OF PAPER LYING HERE CAUSE I REMEMBER IT ALL, ALLL, ALLLLLL TOO WELL! [Taylor swift reference found in paragraph two.] 💖)

I sighed, looking over at a finally still Bella. I walked over to her, my fingers brushing against her arm. Again like she did earlier, she spun away from my touch, curling into a ball in the corner of the room. "I'm sorry." She mumbled. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

"Why?" I softly breathed.

I didn't get an answer. Just a heartbreaking statue of a crumpled up Bella. I sighed again, looking anywhere else, my body begging me to go over and hug my love. What I wouldn't give to see inside her mind and know what exactly was bothering her.

Alice dashed inside the house, going straight up the stairs, leaving the duffel bag I brought with me from Arizona in her wake, sitting on the floor near the entryway. Bella slowly rose from the floor, not looking my way as she dashed upstairs.

A minute or two later, the two girls came down, Alice glaring at my love. I couldn't stop thinking of her that way, my love. It was a rather weird time for my brain to let that particular detail sink in, considering Bella refused to acknowledge my existence. Maybe it's because I know I may die in the next few days.

The plane ride was, as expected, awful. Alice's eyes were permanently glazed over, scoping the future to see any possible changes in what may happen. She briefly explained in the air how her power worked, filling up the tense silence. Bella. . .Bella worried me. She had no emotion on her face, minus the uneasy furrow between her brows, and always was curled in on herself.

I sighed deeply, looking out the window of the car as we drove through Montreux, my ears still recovering from the screaming triplets on the small plane. Bella pulled into a fancy hotel. Alice got us a suite and Bella fell onto the white couch near the door immediately. "Joana must be worried." I mumbled to myself, trying to get Bella to at least say something.

"Mmmm. I think Alice told her the storm hit us and we were going to a hotel in Seattle to spend the night. Alice got Carlisle to call her and I think as far as she knows we're having a small vk, exploring the city." The quiet words ended with a whimper, like someone pinched her hard enough to bruise, and she readjusted herself so her face was buried in a pillow. After a few seconds she turned her head, her blank eyes pointed to the wall beside me. "You must be starving." She said in monotone.

Unable to avoid the hunger in my stomach I nodded. Bella bit her lip, pain marring her beautiful face and I knew she was chastising herself. She hauled her body back up and flitted over to the phone, calling for room service. She handed me the phone and a menu before walking off into one of the two bedrooms.

I sighed, ordering Malakoff, or fried cheese, and slumping down on the couch, absently reaching for the remote to the TV and going through the channels. Alice came out from the room she and Bella had occupied, her silver phone in her hand. "The others are fine, on a small island we own." She told me.

I nodded, feeling so much unease at the lack of Alice's joy and energy I thought I might get dizzy.

The first day was rather boring, but the next day even I heard the muffled voices from the girls room and Alice stomped out, frustrated, and left saying she was going hunting in the nearby national park. I wondered how close nearby was for her.

Alice sent me a meaningful look, glancing to the door of the room Bella hadn't left since yesterday, and shut the door carefully behind her. Taking advantage of the window Alice made for me, I opened the unsuspecting white door a little.
