Chapter 16: You Think You Can Run From Me

I kept running through the woods. It felt like hours at this points. My legs grew weak a while ago so I took a few little breaks along the way. They weren't too long just in case he started to catch up.

It felt like all of the air in my lungs had been sucked out. I fell onto my knees and tried to catch my breath. I just wanted to clasped right then and there.

'Will I ever get out of this Hell hole.'

I came back from the store. I had clothes and food. I put the food in the pantry and the clothes in the dressers in my room.

I went to check on (Y/N) and to my surprise she was gone.

I went to the drawer and took out syringes, ropes, and chloroform.

I put those things into a satchel.

I turned to night and I had to keep running. He would catch up faster if I stopped. I felt weak, tired, and hungry.

Running slowly turned into walking. I tried to get my energy back from all the running. I kept walking until I stopped. I looked up and saw that snow was falling.

'Great, now it is going to get even colder.'

I started to run again since I noticed the sun move more west.

'Is it already turning night again? I don't think I can take much more of this.'

I couldn't feel my legs along with my feet any more. My socks were completely gone. My head ached. My vision was blurry, I wanted to go to sleep. I just wanted to break down.

The sun started to set and I heard a noise. A noise that I never wanted to hear.

"Where are you my Little cutie? You think you can run from me."

'No. No. I don't want to go back.'

I stayed silent because he didn't see me. I hid behind a tree and I hoped he didn't notice me.

"Come on Little cutie, I know you are here. Be a good girl, like you always were."

'This all happened because I forgot an umbrella. I wish I never went to Aoba Johsai! I wish it never rained that day. I wish I walked home faster. I wish I brought a stupid umbrella!'

I heard footsteps coming near me. I stayed quiet and as still as possible, but that wasn't enough.

"Found you~."

I looked behind me to see Tooru. I quickly ran away. I ran as fast as I could, but Tooru was faster. He pushed me to the ground and held my wrists above my head.

"Now, you have been a naughty girl (Y/N). I was being so nice to you. I gave you food, clothes, a home, and my love. Is that enough for you!"

"You're a psycho! You killed people! You're holding me here against my will! I don't love you, I hate you! I'll never love you!"

"Oh, you will. You will love me." He then jabbed a syringe into my arm and I slowly fell asleep.

She fell asleep as soon as I injected her.

'I'm gonna make sure she receives a punishment. One that will prevent this all from happening again.'

I picked up her body, which was cold, cold as ice. She felt lighter than usual.

'She deserves to get sick after this.'

Once I got back to the house, put her back down into the basement. Instead of using rope, I used handcuffs now to bind her wrist to the bed frame. I took the heavy blanket off the bed from when she was sick the first time.

'She doesn't deserve this after what she did.'

I put it back in my room.

'Why isn't she waking up? It's been almost two days? Is she dead? No she can't be, she doesn't die until I say so.'

I walked down to the basement to make sure she was still breathing. When I got down there she was in a cold sweat. She was shaking, sweating, and mumbling something. I got closer and heard what she was saying.

"Get away from me. Someone help. Don't go please."

I wanted to help her but I couldn't.
