Man cannot exist without phantoms and dreams.

In a very young age, Chay always found fondness at the big old house on the far end of their town. Not only its old gothic style, but also the whole vibes of it. People find it creepy since it was always dark and creepy, but not to Chay. He finds it… comforting. Like a home that is always ready to welcome him.
Since it was an old house, it has its infamous reputation of being haunted. Townsfolk called it the Phantom Manor since some people claimed to see a phantom of a young man walking around the mansion. Of course, it attracts people from all over the world to explore the house but the caretaker doesn’t let people enter the property. That’s why they called him grumpy old Big.
Chay would always go to the house and just stare at it fondly, hoping one day he can own the house. His playmates always get scared by just the mere presence of the house, they said it gave them an eerie feeling. Like someone is always watching them. He wouldn’t believe them, it’s just a house. It’s harmless, it wouldn’t do anything bad to them.
Chay often says this dream to Porsche. His brother won’t mind it at first because he thought it’s a dream of an innocent kid, that Chay would somehow grow out of it. But, it started to bother him when Chay reached his young adulthood and still had the same dream of buying that horrifying house.
“You’re not thinking of buying that house, aren’t you, Chay?” Porsche asked him.
Chay smiled at him, “Of course, I do, Hia. It's been my dream since I was a kid. I want that house.” he said.
Porsche stared at him, quite aghast. He can’t believe he's actually hearing this again. It was fine when he was a kid, but way different now that he’s an adult. Porsche sees it as an immature dream, an insane dream. That house is terrifying and he doesn’t want his brother to be near that house, even so living in it.
“What’s wrong with our house that you wanted that scary house so badly?” Porsche asked.
Chay sighed as he stared back at his brother, “There’s nothing wrong with our house, Hia. I love this house. I grew up here. I have many cherished memories here, you know that. But, that house gives me some sort of relief every time I see it. Like a second home.” he said. “And please don’t call it scary. It’s not scary, Hia.”
“Second home? You never been in that house, Chay! And it is scary, it gives goosebumps every time I pass by that house.” he said.
“Hia, please. I want to be independent as well. You might find a partner and you want a house on your own. At least, you have our house all by yourself.” Chay said, still assuring his brother that he will be fine. He knows his Hia doesn’t want him to live alone in a huge house all by himself.
Chay’s decision is final. He will get what he wants. But his brother remained unyielding, still discouraging Chay on his plan, “Don’t buy the house, Chay.” Porsche said firmly.

Chay bought the house. He saved all of his money just to buy this house. Even working overtime on his current work just to earn extra money to buy it. That’s how badly he wants this house. He managed to survive an earful of speech from his brother after he told him that he signed the papers for the property, but it didn’t bother him. He got what he wanted.
When he entered the house for the first time, he felt the same excitement that he also felt the first time he laid his eyes upon the place when he was young. He can already see the life ahead living here. It makes Chay so happy.
“Here, Khun Porchay.” the caretaker called him, causing Chay to break his trance and look at him. He’s having a tour of the house today, just to see the interior of it. The following day would be his moving day. Though, we really wanted to move as soon as he signed the papers of the house, but his brother told him not to rush since the place is already his. So Chay did what his brother told him.
