Reconciliation is to mend and rebuild shattered relationships. Reconciling with loved ones enables you to mend old wounds, bridge gaps, and gain mutual understanding.

Chay audibly gasped as he read the headline for today's news: Remains of the Fourth Missing University Student Found in the Woods

Four bodies just in the course of two weeks. This is bothering Chay already. He bit his lip as he read the rest of the article. Same news everyday: a person will go missing, only to be found days later, body drained with blood. Even in a blurry picture, Chay can see the paleness of the body. It makes his skin crawl.

There is only one evidence in these cases: bite marks. The police claimed it was an animal attack, but this was too clean for an animal bite. The body must be mauled, at least. Or missing a limb. But no. This is different. This isn't a case of an animal attack.

"It's scary, right, Chay? The police advise to stay indoors before dark, until they catch whatever is doing this." Ohm said, Chay's friend, as he read the article as well. "You should know the other news."

Chay tore his eyes away from the newspaper he was holding and looked at Ohm, "What other news?" he asked, tensed to hear the news.

"Remember the farm a few miles away from here? It was reported that every livestock there was dead, all drained with blood too." Ohm said, adding suspense in every word he said. "Do you think it was the same thing who did this? What do you think it is, Chay?"

Chay remained silent, thinking. "I... I don't know." he said, his voice sounding unconvincing. Of course, he knows. He might have an idea what it is, or who. He can't believe he has to deal with this again. It's been more than a year. He has a normal life now, at least.

Yet, he knows he's the only one who can stop these attacks. Many more people will be dead if he doesn't do any actions. He has to do something. His heart aches. Deep inside he wished he was wrong.

Chay hiked in the middle of the woods. The deeper he is, the better. His surroundings get darker as he walks. The sun is hiding behind the heavy density of the trees. It's fine, he'll be safe. He knows he is. He stopped when he reached his destination. It was so deafeningly quiet. Neither birds nor crickets can be heard.

He breathed deeply and shouted, "Kimhan!" It's been a long time since the last time he said that name. Chay remained silent, hearing his quiet surroundings. He waited. Nothing. He shouted again from the top of his lungs, "Kimhan! Show yourself, you blood-sucker!"

Instantly, he felt a quick gust of wind. He screamed when he felt being picked up from the ground. He found himself being pinned against a huge tree, his legs wrapped around the man he hasn't seen for ages.

"Hello, my sweet blood. I missed you..." the man greeted Chay. "Still not used to this, aren't you?" he added. Chay's breath hitches with the sudden closeness. He can smell the rust scent of blood and mint on the man's skin.

"Put me down," he demanded. The man just smiled at him, his sharp fangs glistening, and shook his head playfully, but Chay is not playing any game. This is a serious matter. "Kimhan! Put me down! Now!" he demanded again, anger coating his voice. Kimhan dropped his smile and stared at Chay as he slowly put down Chay on his feet again.

"I'm sorry, Porchay. I just missed you so much. Being this close to you again, it makes me feel alive again." he said as he moved closer to Chay, but Chay placed a hand on Kim's chest to stop him.

"Kim, we broke up a long time ago." Chay said, pain still evident in his voice but he tried to hide it from Kim. He stared at Kim's warm golden eyes. It's been so long since the last time he stared at those eyes. The last time there were tears in his eyes as he left him.
