EVERYTHING I DIDN'T SAY

Chay left polaroids of himself all over Kim's apartment which made the older one long for him a lot. What Chay doesn't know is Kim also left his letters hidden around their house. The truth. The secrets. The true feelings he had for Chay. Everything that he didn't say.

─ ⊹ ⊱ ☆ ⊰ ⊹ ─

Letting a shaky breath, Chay held a sticky note between his fingers. His little fragile heart broke for the millionth time. Another one. Another note is hidden in between the pages of his textbook. In the note, it says: Studying? You are doing so well, Porchay. Keep it up!

It's been six months. Six fucking months. Six months since he blocked him. Six months after he left the main house, he decided to live in their childhood home. Six months since he last saw Kim's pale face when his Hia drove him out of the compound. Six months since he chose to have his peace and move on. Six months since the random notes kept popping out from their hiding spots all over his house.

Chay was trying so hard to move on, to forget the love he had for Kim. Even though he has to live alone again in their lonely home. He was trying so and so hard to forget every remnant of Kim in his system. His memory. His touch. His kiss. His voice. He wants it gone. Yes, six months have passed, but the love Chay had for Kim was still there. Never gone, never faded.

There are times he thinks that he finally has moved on, only to realize that he was just distracted by the things in life. At the end of the day when he is alone in his bed, the lingering feeling of missing Kim ate him up; leaving him broken once more.

All of a sudden, these damn notes started popping up from their hiding places, all of them. Chay instantly recognizes Kim's handwriting. The first note he ever found was under his pillow when he was changing his bedding. It says: Have a good dream, Porchay. At first, he thought it was just a simple note that Kim had "mistakenly" left. He didn't mind it but still decided to keep it. One note wouldn't be that bad, not until he found more notes hidden all over their house.

"Eat well, Porchay!"

"Don't forget to tune the guitar."

"I think your window is broken. Have it fixed."

"If I could only rewind time, I would show you what you are really worth."

Well, Kim might be in their house a few times so that could give him ample time to leave a few notes, but Chay wasn't expecting this many notes from him. There are times that he thought he had found all of them, only to be mistaken and see ten more notes the next few days. He was pretty sure he lost count of how many notes he had found and he found some of them in odd places. At the window, underneath his bed, in his drawer, on a flowerpot, at the swing set, and even inside the fridge.

However, there are a few notes that will never leave his mind for a long time. One time, he decided to scan through his bookshelves and absentmindedly pick out his least favorite book. He was taken aback when he saw a note sticking on the cover saying: I know you don't love this book but do know that I love you.

It made his world stop. It hitches his breath. What if this is just one of Kim's antics that fooled him? These notes were before what happened in Kim's apartment. Yes, it might be possible. But, what if Kim really does love him? Could it have happened? Chay decided to forget about it instead, but it made him cry that night.

More heart-moving notes kept popping up out of nowhere. Sometimes he thought he was being played at. Sometimes he thought Kim was secretly entering their house and leaving notes all over the place. It made him paranoid until he realized that he wasn't. Kim was never in their house, only the remains of his words.
