When daylight comes, dreams aren't what you leave behind. They are what fills each and every hour of your life.

"You woke up in a good mood today. Good dream?" Porsche said to his brother as he sat across him at the dining table.

Chay smiled, "Maybe," he answered. He is in a good mood today. His smile never ceases. His heart felt light like on a cloud nine yet beating so fast.

"What is it about?" Porsche asked then took a huge bite from his bread.

Chay pouted and shrugged, "I don't know. I can't remember."

"P'Kim!" Chay called out as he ran into the arms of the man he adored the most. A pair of arms wrapped around him and he felt home once again. "P'Kim, I'm here."

Kim kissed Chay's temple lovingly, "I missed you." he whispered and tightened his arms around him.

Chay pulled himself from Kim so he can see him, "What did you do today?" he asked.

"I waited for you to come back," Kim said as he softly stroked Chay's hair.

"That's all? You always say that every time I come here." Chay said.

Kim smiled with a hint of sadness, "Baby, there's nothing much to do here. You know I can't go to the other side like you." he said.

"I know, and I hate it," Chay said with a frown.

"Chay..." Kim called disapprovingly.

"It's true, P'Kim. Every morning I wake up and I don't remember you. I hate it. I just know that I want to go home early and fall asleep only to be here with you." he said. He can feel his heart breaking with his own words.

Chay is a lucid dreamer. He discovered that he could do this when he reached the age of 20. Ever since he has always been in control of his dreams. The only problem is he forgets them the moment he wakes up. Dreams were meant to be forgotten as they say.

"Baby, we're in a dream. It was meant to be forgotten when you woke up." Kim said softly. The pain of their reality hits him every time.

Chay hugged Kim again, and tears started to swell up in his eyes. "If you're a dream then I don't want to wake up ever again," he said and sobbed at Kim's chest.

"Don't say that, baby. Please," Kim said, stroking Chay's back as he tried to soothe his crying lover. His heart broke when he heard Chay's soft sobs.

Kim appeared in one of Chay's dreams and he never disappeared. Unlike Chay, he can't go to the real world. He doesn't wake up at all. He's always there every time in Chay's dreams, like a character in his own story. He doesn't remember who is, all he knows is that his name is Kimhan. That's all.

He was confused and wounded when Chay found him, wondering why he was there. Chay tried to explain everything to him but was still confused. Chay asked why he was wounded but Kim didn't remember anything at all. Chay wanted to help him, but he can't since he forgets the dream when he wakes up in the morning.

Eventually, he got a grasp of everything in Chay's dreams. Lingering there and always waiting for him as Chay goes through his day. It became the highlight of his day when Chay appeared in his dream. That's when their relationship started. It's like having a dream inside a dream.

"I can't keep waking up just to forget you, P'Kim. Not knowing you're alone here. I can't stand this anymore." Chay cried harder.

"I know, and I'm sorry," Kim said. He pulled himself out of his lover's hug. Chay's eyes were red and his face was puffy from crying. Kim cupped his face and wiped his tears away, "Stop crying, baby. Why don't we watch the stars? You like that, don't you?" he said. Chay sniffed one last time and nodded. Kim smiled and lovingly kissed Chay's lips.
