Love your rival because this is the only way to win them over as your lover.

Chay runs a hand through his already messy hair. He's rummaging through the table which is scattered with papers, finding the song sheet he needed. He's currently in the music room and it's already dark outside. He wants to go home.

"Damn it! Where the hell is it?" he muttered under his breath. He's so stressed due to pressure and now, he can't find this stupid song sheet.

There's an upcoming Annual Battle of the Bands at their University Festival in a couple of weeks and Chay's band hasn't started anything. He's their leader, so he plans everything. From the instruments needed to the song they will play. Damn it! His bandmates didn't even help him. They just live everything to him and rely on his plans.

"Oh yes!" Chay yelped in delight, clutching a song sheet in his hands.

Then, a voice behind him made him jump. "Be careful, sunshine. Someone might hear you outside, thinking we're having a good time." the voice said with a hint of mischievousness

Chay turned and rolled his eyes as he see the owner of the voice. "Fuck off, Kimhan," he said, turning his back again to gather the mess into a neat stack of papers. No. Not him. Not now. Not that he looks like a mess as well. He has the dignity to maintain, especially in front of this man.

Kim walk towards him, "I'm afraid I can't do that. We're in the music room, and this is my territory." he said, a smirk plastered on his face.

Chay scoffed, "As I remember, everyone can use this room. It's not exclusive for Music Majors." he rebutted, not even bothering to look at him.

He heard a chuckle, "Touchè." Kim said. He leaned into the table where Chay still gathering his things. "I have a question. Does the band of Communication Arts ready to lose at the upcoming battle?"

Chay finally looked at him, glaring. Kim's smirk widen, seeing Chay's irritated face. Oh, he loves annoying this little sunshine. Chay sighed, rolling his eyes and composing himself. He can't let this jerk get into his veins.

"I was actually going to ask you that, Kimhan. Wouldn't it be shameful for the Music department to lose again against our department this year?" Chay said, making Kim drop his smirk. He smirked this time. He doesn't care if he pushed a button. He needs to put his foot down and show Kim that he's not easy to mess with.

The Music department and Communication Arts department has always been rivals in this kind of competition. Chay thought it was childish and just something that their alumni do to spice up their college life. But after seeing Kimhan Theeranpanyakul, a Music Major student, and his conceited attitude, he pushed the thought away and wanted to bring him down. Yet, despite this attitude of Kim, everyone likes him. He's popular all over the university. Good looks with a good voice. What more do you want?

When the Music department lose against them the previous year, Chay will never forget Kim's annoyed face in the crowd and he wants to see it again.

Kim smirked and doesn't seem to be fazed by his words. Chay's eyebrows furrowed, confused. What the hell? Kim tried to run a finger on Chay's tie, but he swatted his hand away.

"Sunshine, the reason we lost last year is because I got suspended and I wasn't able to participate. But I'm here now. You know I am our department's lucky charm." he said.

This jerk's arrogance is really through the roof. Chay remained unyielding, "You lose last year. I will make sure you will lose again this year."

"Oh, sunshin–"
