That one-syllable word left her mouth quickly. Before her mind even processed what he was really asking her. Stella took a few steps back, studying him with her intense brown eyes. Trying to figure out if he was being serious, if this was a joke, or if this was a scheme he was doing to get her family to some extent back off but would it work; they don't like him, so she knows this would piss them off more. Which kind of made her happy; she loves irritating them. But then again, she didn't like lying to them either, especially Taylor and Megan. She hated that Taylor thinks she and Kelly are in love because they're not; they can't be in love because they don't know each other well enough to be in love. So why is he asking her to marry him, and most importantly, why did she say yes?

"Did you say yes?" His smooth tone knocked her out of her thoughts. Her reply was low, but he swears he heard a yes; he just needed her to confirm it.

"Um...I..." she tried to speak, but for the first time in her life, she was speechless.

He stood up, not once looking at anyone but her; he didn't care that they had an audience. In his eyes, the only person he saw was her. He took her hands into his. "You know how when you meet someone, you feel like you've known them your whole life? You know, you just click. I don't believe in love at first sight, but I sure believe in the click." She didn't reply; she just looked at him, begging him to go on. "That's how I feel about you. Stella you and I click, at least I think we do. There aren't many people who you just click with in life, so when you find those people, you don't just let them go."

"Are you serious?" she asked, finally finding her voice. Knowing he was after that little speech, it should scare the hell out of her; they don't know each other, they have no clue what they're getting into, and he's asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. This was insane; you don't marry someone after just knowing them for a week. Who does that?

"Stella, when I first finished my book and my mom read it, she told me that my day would come and that I would someday find my other half like she did and like my brother did. She said be patient, Kelly; you don't find love, love finds you." He paused and cleared his throat. "And she was right." His memorizing blue eyes stared into her glistening brown eyes. "Love finds you when you least expect it. I read once that the best love is unexpected. You don't just pick someone and cross your fingers that it'll work out. You meet them by chance, and it's an instant connection. The chemistry they share is way above your head. You just talk and notice the way their lips curve when they smile or the way their eyes light up when they are talking about something they love and all at once you know you're either lucky or screwed." He smirked at her. "I know that you're the one I've been waiting for; you are the real deal for me. I can feel it, can't you?"

" I think I do, Kelly I... " Stella began but was interrupted.

"It's time for the best man and maid of honor toast." Kirsten said in the mic, hoping to stop whatever was going on between Stella and Kelly. "Stella, sweetheart, get up here and deliver your speech, please."

Stella rolled her eyes. She wanted to finish their conversation, but knowing her mom, she wouldn't let her. "I'll be right back; stay right there." she whispered as she slowly pulled away. She turned back to him and said. " And please stay away from Morgan." She smiled, then pointed at him. "Don't let her touch you." she demanded with a wink.

Kelly smiled, knowing she had been a little jealous earlier. He pulled her back to him. "No one touches me but you, I promise," he said as he crossed his heart. He then kissed her, and what was meant to be just a simple little kiss slowly turned into a long, passionate, heated one.

Kirsten cleared her throat. "Stella, this is not the time for that." She yelled into the mic. She was annoyed at the way they were acting in public. She looked around the room, feeling ashamed.
