"Comparison is a joy stealer unless it is used for self-improvement. " —Shanette Parker
In another book of mine, I talked about this universal enemy; comparison. This enemy is employed in every country and is devoted to the point where it works over time, on weekends and public holidays. Everyday.
Comparison can be good or bad, depending on how it is utilized. In this chapter I will tell you how to use it for your own benefit.
Research some of the healthiest, fittest and most peaceful people alive or even deceased, study their lives for a period of time. Look for similarities amongst each individual and then look for the differences between them and yourself.
What did they do or what are they doing that you are not doing, that if done, will heal your body or restore your peace?
Look deep. When you find the missing pieces, slowly put them where they belong and imitate those individuals. You'll be surprised to know how fast you recover just by comparing and imitating.
