Hey folks! I wanted to make a note that most chapters in this story are very short. My reasoning is because I wrote most this on my phone. I'm so sorry about it!!

S'up guys? Here's the first chapter! Hope you enjoy and I love feedback! Also I should note for those unaware that Sp00n's real name is Nick. That is all. Enjoy ^.^

Everyone stood around the kitchen, talking and joking. Jordan and Dan both stood by the island. James was leaned against a cupboard near the doorway that Nick was standing in. It was normal for Nick to be quiet around people that weren't James, but for James to be mute was just... weird. Dan and Jordan got to a point in they're conversation where they forgot about the other two.

Nick stepped out of the doorway and came closer to James, who was staring off into space.

"You okay man?" Nick asked with narrow, worried eyes.

"Hm?" James snapped back to reality. "Oh yeah I'm...I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" he raised an eyebrow. "You've just been very quiet. That's not normal for you."

James saw the slight desperation for an answer that lingered in his friend's eyes. He took a glance over to the two that were talking then back at Nick, then began to walk into the next room, putting his hand on Nick's back to guide him to a location out of earshot of the others. Once there, James' face fell even farther than it already was. He became flushed trying to choke up the answer and his eyes began to stare at the floor.

James sighed. "Late last night -late enough I didn't even see it until this morning- I got a nasty text from my girlfriend dumping my ass hard."

Nick's expression was still worried, but it became understanding as he tried to consul his friend.

"I'm sorry, really." He replied putting a hand to the others shoulder.

"Please, just don't tell the others. I hate when people try to make shit better."

"I get it. You need to heal on your own time."

They're conversation was cut short by the sound of the deadbolt turning followed by a loud voice bursting into the kitchen.

"S'up assholes? Miss me?" Eddie's voice boomed announcing his arrival.

The iconic golden-giggle filled the house as Nick turned to leave the room. He looked over his shoulder to James once more.

"Hey, later tonight, you wanna grab drinks or something?" He asked.

"Sure." James replied walking up to Nick's side as they entered the kitchen once again. "Of course we missed you Sly," He tried faking a smile. "But we didn't miss Aleks."

"Yep," Aleks sighed. "Should've seen that one coming." He groaned under his breath.

Sly giggled once more then changed the subject as he surveyed the faces that filled the room. "Where's Seamus?"

"Good question." Jordan replied.

It was a question soon to be answered as they could hear the blond's voice coming down the hallway. He was talking on the phone and ended the call just as he entered the room.

"When'd you two get here?" He asked the pair by the door.

"Just now." Sly replied.

"It was such a warm welcome like always." Aleks joked sarcastically as he rolled his eyes at James.

James tried his best to laugh, hoping the others wouldn't see how fake his grin was. Seamus continued to talk as he grabbed a drink from the fridge.

"I have some friends from back home that wanted to be come visit me for a while." He said. "Would you guys mind if they crashed at the house?"

"I'm sure James and Dan would be fine with it." Jordan answered looking to the two for confirmation.

"Yeah I'm fine with that." Dan said with his usual happy tone.

"Ugh I guess, but I hate having to be quiet for people!" James complained making Seamus chuckle a bit.

He got a devilish grin across his face. "Not even for two extremely attractive girls?"

James perked up a bit. "How attractive?"

"Mmm, well..." Seamus took a sip off his soda before replying. "One looks like Avril Lavigne back in her "complicated" days, and the other looks a lot like Tiffany; acts like her too. Sophia, the Avril Lavigne one, she's like if you took Sly's personality and stuck it in a chick and then hit the mute button. And Merel, well like I said she acts just like Tiffany, but she'll fuck your shit up if you try anything."

Aleks grinned at the comparison. "Yeah, well Tiffany would too."

Sly laughed as James and Nick both got grins that only lasted for a few seconds.

"What do they do for a living?" Dan asked.

"Sophia's a crime scene investigator and Merel's an author."

"They sound like nice girls." Sly said as he leaned on the counter. "Can't wait to meet 'em!" He smiled.

»Later That Night«

James held to his promise for drinks, especially since Nick offered to foot the bill. Aleks owed them a favor, so they pulled him along for a driver. He took it as an opportunity to get out of the house and give Sly that alone time with his girlfriend he'd been begging for. It was a Thursday night so the whole bar was a ghost town. Aleks took a seat at a table in a dark corner with his laptop, knowing that Nick needed to be alone with James. The two sat at another table across the room from Aleks, they're backs turned to him.

"So..." Nick trailed his voice looking at his beer, and then slowly pulling his eyes up to James as he raised an eyebrow. "Earlier, why'd your eyes light up so much when Seamus was talkin' about that Sophia girl?"

James went to his best defense; anger, but lucky for Nick it was a playful tone.

"I did not!" He protested.

"You did too!" Nick retaliated with the same joking tone.

Their shouting broke Aleks out of his concentration. They both looked back to him to see why his rhythmic typing had stopped. He had a slight grin on his face.

"Oh fuck you! I don't like her!" James yelled.

"I wasn't listening. You like who?" Aleks asked fighting his devil smile.

"Sophia." James instantly covered his mouth as he realized how he fell into Aleks' play on words.

"So you do like her!" Nick said, smiling ear to ear.

"No! It hasn't even been twenty-four hours since my girl dumbed me! And for fucks sake I don't even know what Sophia looks like!"

Aleks took a second to recompose himself after being blindsided by the news of James girlfriend of two years dumbing him. He talked as he went to pull something up on his computer.

"You both are so stupid." He muttered to himself. "Oh look! In two seconds I found her Facebook! Who would have thought the Internet could be that amazing!" He sighed with sarcasm overwhelming his tone.

"Really?" James asked with a wondering gaze.

"Yes!" Aleks replied annoyed.

James hesitated for a second, then got up from his seat. He walked over to the table Aleks was working at and turned the laptop his direction. He couldn't believe the beauty he saw on that screen. The description Seamus gave was barely a tenth of how gorgeous she truly was. A dumb smile grew on James face.

There it was! Sophia is the lovley lady in the side bar btw! I hope you all like it and if you do please make sure to follow me and vote this story and all that magical stuff! Until next time,
