»Seamus' POV«

The car was silent and my worst fears were coming to light. I don't think Ashely and Merel like each other in the least bit. It would explain the silence.

At some point the CD that was playing came to the song Home. It made me remember what 'home' used to be to me. It was wherever Merel and I were. I glanced back at her in the rear view mirror. She's so damn beautiful I thought as I smiled at her and she smiled back her sweet smile. I knew Ashley was pissed. I could see the dirty look she was shooting me from the corner of my eye. I was about to say something, but my phone got a text from Eddie.

It read Hey where are you asses?

I know I shouldn't text while driving, but it was an excuse to ignore my angered girlfriend.

Almost at the house. Why? Need something?

Nope. Just wanted to tell you Natalie and Ally are over :)

Oh that's just fucking great. Ally will like the girls, but Natalie will follow Ashley's lead in hating them. Especially if Sophia and James end up together because Natalie's friends with his new Ex. T minus ten minutes until my life ends.

»Ten Minutes Later«

As we walked in the door to the kitchen I was dumbfounded to find a clean Creature House. The guys did better than I thought. The damn place is always dirty, but now it's spotless. Must be James really trying to impress Sophia.

I guess James dog, Ein, could tell what an animal lover Sophia is because she came running at her the second she stepped in the kitchen. Unfortunately the fur ball rammed into Sophia in the middle of her walking, making her trip. Just as she started to fall forwards she fell into someone's arms.... James' arms.

Merel leaned over to me. "Smart dog." She whispered.

I couldn't help but laugh because it's true. Ein may be an ass at times, but she deserves a scratch behind the ears for that.

»James' POV«

I forgot to put Ein away and didn't realize it until I heard Seamus and his friends coming in the door. Quickly I ran down stairs trying to catch the little asshole, but I was too late. She ran straight up to Sophia tripping her. She fell forward and straight into my chest. Then she looked up ready to apologize but when our eyes met we both just stopped for a moment... just speechless. Her eyes... I could stare at them forever.

She broke our of her gaze. "I'm so sorry! I'm so clumsy!"

God she's quiet. I could barely hear her.

"No, it's my fault!" I apologized. "It's my dog."

"Oh it's okay. I couldn't blame such a cute little munchie like him." She spoke in a baby voice as she knelt down and petted the dog.

"That's Sophia by the way." Seamus butted in. "And this is Merel." He continued gesturing towards the woman standing next to him. "Merel already knows everyone from our videos, but Sophia doesn't." He took a second to think. "You know what? How 'bout Merel and I take the luggage upstairs and you and Ash introduce Sophia to everyone?"

I smiled. "Sure."

»Seamus' POV«

I was happy to get away from an angry Ash and even happier to be alone with Merel. Once I dumbed all Sophia's crap in our guest bedroom, I walked across the hall to my old room where Merel would be staying. I watched her set down her stuff and head for the door, but I grabbed her by the arm because I badly needed to talk to her .

"You know you weren't getting off that easy with this one." I said turning her arm over to the bruise.

She sighed as I let go and she walked to the door, closing it. As she turned around she was fighting tears. Then what she did next took be off guard. She hugged me as tight as possible. Not around my neck like usual either. It was around my chest.

"I know you know it's Ronnie. I hate him so much. I don't want these next three weeks to ever end cause I missed you so much and once they're over I have to go back to him." She muttered as she began to cry.

I put one hand on her lower back and another on the back of her head. Slowly I moved the one on her back up and down trying to calm her, but I knew she needed to cry. All her pain and sorrow gets trapped and fills up. I'm the only one she ever cried out to, so can you imagine what a year and a half has stored away?

"It's okay beautiful. It'll all be okay, trust me Moe." I whispered to her.

"As long as I'm trapped it won't be okay."

I sighed. "You're way too good for him, or any guy."

I pulled her head back and slouched down the wall a bit so I was at her eye level. I smiled making her smile back, then I ran my finger under her eye to wipe away the tears.

"Please, for me, move back to Colorado."

Yes I said "back". She was born here, then at the start of her teens moved to the mid-west and in her twenties moved to Tennessee.

"I... I don't know. I'll have to think about it."

"That's okay. Take all the time you need gorgeous."

I hate that I know Ronnie never compliments her or gives her love. It makes me sick to my stomach some of the things he does to her. I want her out here and safe with me. Not miles away with an abusive asshole.
