Remember when I said I might be writing on a computer soon? Aint! Wrong! :/ I won't be aloud to use it for two weeks cause my grades are kinda crappy. I still have my phone though so enjoy :D

»Merel's POV«

"How did you two meet Seamus anyways?"

As the words came out Ali's mouth I watched the color slip out of Seamus' face. Of course I won't tell them the truth, especially with Ashley sitting right there.

"Sophia and I are from a small town about forty minutes from St. Paul and four hours from Chicago. I was a bit of a wild child to say the least, and one night I went to this party with some of the seniors at our school. It was quite the drive. Anyways, I had just turned sixteen. Seamus' stoner friends convinced him to go and we were two of about four or five people that weren't high, so we started talking and became friends. Later on he came and visited me and he met everyone else."

Okay, so maybe we were high at that party, but they didn't need to know that we were ex-stoners. And maybe we hooked up, and the next morning he asked me out, but again they didn't need to know that either. Ashley already hates me enough. In fact, they don't need to know a lot of our past together. The life Seamus has now is completely separate from the one we met in.

"Wait, hold up." Aleks said. "On the assumption Charlotte is at the same... level as you two, how the hell can Seamus become friends with three extremely attractive girls and not get the guts to ask one out?"

As soon as he asked the whole room burst out laughing. Aleks had this dumb look on his face because he had no idea why they were laughing at his question. Once the laughter calmed Seamus answered.

"Well, Sophia was taken at the time and so was Charlotte. Merel had a boyfriend too but even after they broke up I knew she was, and still is, out of my league."

Ugh oh. He'll regret saying that. That was enough for Ashley to turn red and walk out of the room, Natalie soon to follow. Everyone's smiles fell and tension suddenly grew. Seamus got up to go after Ash, but Eddie stopped him.

"Let me handle this." He said lowering the hand he used to stop Seamus.

Seamus huffed but did listen and sat back down. I, however, don't listen well. I jumped up and went to the door to spy. Surprisingly no one stopped me, not even Seamus who normally hates my ease dropping.

»Eddie's POV«

Ash was worked up full of anger, rage, and a need to cry all at once. I treat her like a little sister, so to see her storm out of the room like that made my blood boil towards Seamus. He's not the type to look at other girls so I guess Ash didn't know how to deal with him showing affection for another woman.

When I walked in the kitchen Natalie was trying her best to comfort Ash, but to no avail. She wasn't crying, but her face was red. Without a word, Natalie handed the situation over to me. Before she left the room she gave me a you better fucking fix this look.

Ashley looked back to see where Natalie was going and she put on a slight smile to see me standing there. I sighed, but said nothing. Ash was silent too as I pulled her into a hug and she lightly began crying.

"C'mon, tell me what's wrong. You've been pissed ever since you got back from the airport."

I knew very well what was wrong, but I wanted to hear her say it. She needed to admit it to herself too, and hear it out loud.

"I hate Merel and Seamus loves her. What is it with her that he treats her like she's an angel? Everyone loves her and I just wanna hit her."

I couldn't help but let out a little giggle. She pulled her head back from my chest.

"It's not funny asshole!" She said giving a light punch to my shoulder.

We both began to laugh and it made her tears go away. The redness started to fade from her face, and her skin wasn't as hot.

"You hit like a girl." I laughed.

"Last time I checked I was a girl." She joked.

"Okay you hit like Aleks."

We both died laughing.

She managed a few words. "You're a prick!"

"Okay, okay! That one was bad."

We both continued to laugh. I looked at her now not upset face. When she laughs and even when she cries she's so... no Eddie! Not your girl! She's just a friend. Right?

»Few Minutes Later«

"ALEKS! NATALIE! GET YO' ASSES IN HERE... PLEASE!" I yelled from the kitchen.

They both came in almost crashing from running.

"I'm gonna take Ash home. You guys wanna catch a ride from someone or just come home now?" I asked.

"It is kinda late. I guess we should get home." Natalie replied.

Aleks was probably the only one in that room that didn't hate Merel or Seamus. I didn't want to hate either of them but anyone that can make one of my friends cry doesn't deserve my time. Just as I expected, he was the only one to go say goodbye to everyone. I watched from the doorway as he quickly hugged Merel and grabbed her number, then turned around and gave Seamus a bro-hug. Aleks whispered something to him and God do I wish I knew what it was. Aleks being friends with them won't be good. I'm going to have to talk to him now...

Another cliffhanger. I like them incase you can't tell ^.^ I hope y'all enjoyed! Please follow and vote and all that magical stuff! Until next time,
