»James' POV«

Okay, so even though Seamus told me to go to bed last night, I didn't. I stayed up talking to Sophia and even if my ass is dragging this morning, it was worth it. I've honestly been oblivious to everything else since I met her, but I do know that there's something going on with Seamus and Ashley and somehow it's made Aleks mad at Eddie and a bunch of complicated shit. It's not really any of my business, but when I went downstairs last night to get a drink I heard Aleks and Seamus debating sleeping arrangements. How could I not jump at that opportunity? And I was happy to see Sophia agree to let Aleks have her room because that meant she could sleep with me.

Not in the nasty way! I meant sleep in my room. I don't wanna scare her away. Plus I like going slow with relationships and I think she does too. When I woke up, that earlier bird was already long gone. I don't understand it. She stays up late like she's a night owl but wakes up at the crack of dawn. I shrugged it off and got out of bed.

Once I was showered and dressed I headed downstairs. Everyone was in this kitchen talking. Dan, Merel, and Seamus were at the table. Sophia and Aleks were at the counter along with Clash. Weird to see him this early but I didn't think much of it.

Aleks turned on the radio and I was about to yell at him to change the station because it was One Direction, but I stopped myself when I saw Sophia dancing along to Nobody Compares. My whole world stopped as I watched her. Ein ran up and started walking on her hein legs as if dancing too. Sophia laughed and the two danced together. Right there, in that moment, I saw my life, and what I wanted my future to be.

Her smile just drove me crazy. The way she moved, her soft skin, her giggle... it was all just perfect. I realized that she is the one. I need to make sure I don't lose her though.

»Seamus' POV«

I guess yesterday morning Merel's room was dark enough I didn't notice, but today her room was bright and I could see the bruises. I stared at her body as she slept thinking once again how much I hated Ronnie. I know how to get rid of him, I just need Merel to let me. She still holds on to that prick and I'll never understand it.

I realized the few clothes I had with me were all old. Now I remember why I didn't care that I forgot that box. Right before I hopped in the shower I text Clash and asked him to bring me a change of clothes. Luckily he said he would.

Aleks, Sophia and Dan were already up by the time I went downstairs. Soon after Merel came down. There was too many people for me to confront her about this Ronnie thing. Right after James came down Aleks turned on the radio. Sophia started dancing with Ein and I watched as he looked at her with true compassion in his eyes. He really loves her. She's practically my little sister. I'll need James to understand, if he hurts her, I'll seriously hurt him.

It was a toss up between talking to Merel or James. I know Merel would have a talk with him anyways, so two birds with one stone. I asked them both to stay behind as the others went to the basement to play Call of Duty. As soon as the coast was clear I sat down with both of them at the table.

"Soooo," I stretched my voice then took a breathe in. "Here's the thing, Sophia is like a little sister to both of us. I just wanna make sure you understand, if you hurt her you're basically dead."

Merel looked relieved that I wasn't gonna talk to her. If only she knew...

James gave a nervous laugh. "I would never hurt her. If, someday, she stops being so timid and modest and realizes she's out of my league, then I'm going to be the one crying. But Seamus, I can promise you that I'm serious about her. Its only been three days knowing her, but I can tell you they've been the best three days of my life."

I smiled. He meant it, every word. I let him go happy to know he truly loved her. Merel looked happy too. Pour Sophia has been stepped on so much its heartbreaking. Now she has her prince, and I need to pay attention to my princess.

"Merel," I said grabbing her wrist as she began to walk for the basement. "Can I talk to you?"

She lowered her guard and came back to the table. "Yeah."

"I'm sick of watching Ronnie hurt you. Please, let me get rid of him. I'll get him gone and you can move out here, with me. I mean, Sophia obviously will be moving out anyways for James. And Charlotte just wants to get outta Minnesota. The others would love to move and get back together too so you got nothing to lose."

"What about Ashley?" She asked.

"I'll figure that out. I love you with all my heart but there's just this weird feeling I have that I need to hold on to her a little longer, like there's something she's keeping secret. I don't know what but my feelings have never steered me wrong before."

»Aleks POV«

"Like there's something she's keeping secret. I don't know what but my feelings have never steered me wrong before."

I sighed. They didn't know I was listening from the other room. Yeah, she did have a secret and I knew what it was. I wish I didn't because then I wouldn't feel like shit for keeping it from Seamus. Fuck me!

Sorry this is so short! Don't hurt me! Please give feedback and thanks so much for 100 reads! I love you guys so much♥! Please follow, vote, and all that magical stuff. Until next time,
