" emiko? " a voice was heard, the girl was walking to the convience store. she needed to take a little walk to clear her head, emiko had been having a hard time lately with everything that happened and not mention she had been thinking about the past lately.
" kamui, hi! " emiko turned around a to see a familar male, this time with no mask on and he was in more casual clothing than the last time she saw him. he smiled at her and she smiled back at him but he could tell something was wrong.
kamui tilted his head and walked closer to emiko, he may be quiet but he was very observant with feelings/moods. " are you okay? " he said as emiko looked away from him as she didn't want kamui to see her cry. " yeah, i'm fine " she said wiping a tear from her face then she turned back to look at him.
it was very clear that something was bothering her, " is it about your second in command? " kamui's eyes softened after seeing her glossy eyes. emiko nodded and wiped some more tears that were rolling down her cheek. " you know, not talking about what happened won't stop the pain. it will just create more pain because you aren't allowing yourself to properly heal " he said.
" it's just hard to say, she was my best friend " emiko said once again turning back to look at kamui.
" i get it, but talking about it will make you feel a lot better. you don't even have to tell me just tell someone you trust " kamui said looking at emiko who nodded.
at that moment, emiko decided to follow his advice i mean her and the other girls were already in pain so sharing the story wouldn't make a difference. she already knew who she was telling, emiko had already thought about telling them for a long time. they deserved to know espically with them and hanazono hanging out all the time.
" thanks kamui, i think it is time for me talk about it. obviously not talking about it is still creating pain and at this point i have nothing to lose " emiko turned to kamui, her eyes still a little glossy from the few tears that she shed.
he smiled and nodded happily, kamui didn't care if him and the other suzuran would never hear the story he just wanted emiko to smile. which is surpising for him because normally he didn't bat an eye at a girl. emiko was different, she was his friend that was hurting and he was going to fix that.
" i've gotta go, thank you for the advice " emiko smiled at him, this time is was a genuine smile.
" you're welcome and be careful getting home " kamui said to her, she nodded and started to walk in the opposite direction as him.
emiko had texted the other girls to be ready because when she got back to the hangout they were going to oya high. she figured out of everyone they knew, oya was the school that she trusted the most. she did trust housen and suzuran but oya high was different for her. it was a safe haven and she wanted to have her safe haven she would tell the story.

the girls had arrived to oya high, emiko had texted fujio to let the full-timers know they are to meet at the rooftop. the girls parked their bikes and walked into the school of oya high, it was quiet because mostly everyone had gone home for the day. it was getting dark out and no one liked to stay at oya at night.
