Chapter 10

Cui: "I must report this to Lord Frieza"

Cui was a lieutenant within the Frieza Forces ranks and was quite powerful. He had just come back from a successful campaign on the planet Hera and a rather toxic encounter with the Prince of the Saiyans Vegeta.

However he wasn't in the mood one might expect from such a victory. Instead Cui was scared, practically shaking as he walked through the main quarters of the Frieza Flag ship.

Having been chosen by his captain Cui was given one job. Something that depending on the result of a mission no one ever wanted to do.

He had to deliver the mission report.

As he got deeper into the ship he finally reached it. A room with a large white insignia designed on it.

Cui was practically shaking. 

Slowly he opened the door.

There he was.

Although small everyone knew it was simply a facade.

Frieza could wipe them all out with a finger if he so pleased.

Cui: "L-l-l-Lord Frieza"

Frieza turned around as his very presence caused Cui to take a step back. He had only seen Frieza once and never had he been with him by himself.

Frieza: "And what do you want?"

Cui bowed as he tried to form a coherent sentence.

Cui: "M-m-My name is Cui, I am the lieutenant of the T-48DL Divisio-"

Frieza: "I didn't ask your name"

Cui flinched as a tense silence filled the room.

Frieza: "I frankly don't care..."

Frieza floated over to Cui who still knelt before the emperor.

Frieza: "Why have you bothered me"

Cui: "W-w-We have successfully captured planet Hera"

Cui was frozen still as Frieza stood over him.

Frieza: "Oh. Well then good"

Cui felt a little relief as Frieza floated back to his chair.

Frieza: "Well then that is good news"

Cui stood still not wanting to in any way annoy the emperor. Other soldiers had been killed for far less.

Frieza: "Because I'm in such a good mood, Cui was it? I am promoting you to vice captain of your division"

Cui was elated yet still kept his head down.

Frieza: "Well then you are dismissed Cui"

Cui finally stood up as he walk out of Frieza's chamber.

Frieza: "Cui correct?"

Cui stopped turning to face Frieza.

Cui: "Yes my lord"

Frieza: "Do not fail me.....or you won't live to regret it"

Cui: "Y-y-y-Y-Yes L-Lord Frieza"

Cui quickly rushed out scared out of his mind as right past him walked in one of Frieza's most trusted men.

Frieza: "Zarbon I trust your mission went well"

Zarbon: "Yes Lord Frieza, I made quick work of the rebellion on planet A-29"

Zarbon kneeled before Frieza waved him up.

Frieza: "Now remind me Zarbon, planet Hera. We sent Vegeta and his squad to help with that correct?"

Zarbon: "Yes, that is correct Lord Frieza"

Frieza took a minute to think.

Frieza: "Those pesky Saiyans are beginning to become a problem"

Zarbon: "Lord Frieza?"

Frieza: "They are becoming stronger Zarbon. Where are the Saiyans assigned to Planet Hera?"

Zarbon quickly searched through the main module before finding the ship they had registered.

Zarbon: "They are heading to a far off part of west galaxy, it seems to have no real relevance-"

Frieza: "Keep tabs on them will you Zarbon"

Zarbon: "Lord Frieza should we really be worried about the Saiyans?"

Frieza paused for a second which made Zarbon a little nervous.

Frieza: "They are an impulsive and vile race, I know they will betray me eventually"

Frieza turned back in his chair facing the stars ahead.

Frieza: "Which is why I must be ready for when they do"

Frieza then looked at the module in front of him tapping a red button. From it a holomap appeared showing a map of the known universe with sections tailed off for whoever was in control.

Frieza: "Cooler is gaining ground in the sector 483....Why is that Zarbon?"

Zarbon froze for a second before quickly regaining himself.

Zarbon: "Reports indicate that despite the perfect defense that you laid out Lord Frieza, Cooler was able to flank their positions"

Frieza cursed under his breath.

Frieza: "That gives him majority control of the East Galaxy....I will not allow this"

Frieza then looked around searching for anything he deemed wrong.

Frieza: "And what about the pirate?"

Zarbon: "We still have not been able to break Bojack's hold on sector 1219"

Frieza: "Well then, I may have to change that"

Frieza then snapped his fingers as a soldier came walking over with a glass of wine, handing it to the emperor. Frieza took a sip before setting it down continuing to analyze the map in front of him.

Frieza: "And of course there's the Galactic Patrol, they have too much influence"

On the map each sector was highlighted in different colors. Pink was the Frieza Force, Purple the Cooler Core, Grey Neutral, Blue the Galactic Patrol, and one green province where the notorious space pirate Bojack took hold.

Frieza: "But no matter"

Frieza floated through the holomap as he stared into the vast emptiness of space.

Zarbon: "Lord Frieza?"

Frieza turned to face Zarbon with an evil grin.

Frieza: "Soon"

"IT ALL WILL BE MINE."
