Chapter 24

"ALERT. SHIP HAS BEEN DOCKED"

The four Saiyans woke from their slumber as they hopped out of their healing pods. 

It took them all a moment to truly acclimate to their senses. 

Vegeta: "We have arrived"

Vegeta walked over to the equipment stalls as he put on his armor. He grimaced as the memories of his defeat on Earth still weighed heavily on his mind.

Caulifla, Cabba, and Raditz joined Vegeta as they got some fresh armor.

Caulifla: "We need to go back to Earth"

Everyone looked over to Caulifla who was practically shaking in fury.

Caulifla: "Those weaklings. I won't let them get away with this"

Vegeta smirked.

Vegeta: "We will in due time"

Despite her being a low class warriror, Caulifla was the one Saiyan in the squad to whom Vegeta respected the most. Her ruthlessness and anger exceeded only by his own.

But this trait shared and respected by both Vegeta and Caulifla was only putting Cabba further and further away from the squad. 

In his mind he still remembered what Vegeta had done to Nappa. "He killed him! One of our own!!!" Cabba thought before the voice of Vegeta broke him out of his trance.

Vegeta: "Raditz. Status report"

Raditz checked the ships module as what it read confused him.

Vegeta: "Well? What does it say? Do we need to dock it for repairs?"

Raditz: "N-No"

Vegeta: "Then what!?!?"

Raditz: "W-w-We're not on Planet Vegeta!"

The Saiyans all stood with shock.

Vegeta: "Then why have we awoken!?!"

Raditz: "P-Prince Vegeta. It says our ship has been captured"

Vegeta: "What!?!"

Vegeta scoffed as Cabba and Caulifla walked over to his side.

Vegeta: "Whoever dare apprehend our ship will pay with their lives!! Cabba, Caulifla, Raditz, on me!!"

The Saiyans quickly rallied to Vegeta's side as with one blast the Saiyan prince blew open the ships hatch. The Saiyans dropped down to find themselves on a enormous ship as they were surrounded by tons of soldiers.

Caulifla: "Oh look, the welcoming committee"

Vegeta: "Indeed"

Vegeta smirked. He thought it'd be nice that he would now get to let off some steam. But then he noticed the armor of the soldiers. They all had the same familiar emblem. 

"Prince Vegeta"

Vegeta looked up as a tall man floated down from above. Vegeta's eyes widened as his very being began to cower.

"Y-Y-You're!?!?"

Vegeta stumbled back. The other Saiyans had never seen him like this. Seen him so scared. However it wasn't as if they didn't understand as Raditz and Cabba were equally as terrified.

Vegeta: "COOLER!?!?"

The Frost Demon smirked as he approached Vegeta. Unlike his brother Cooler preferred staying in his final form, a true showing of his superiority.
