Dragon Ball Kakarot

Chapter 23

"WHY!!!!"

Kakarot was met with an absolutely brutal punch as he was sent flying off of Kami's lookout. He landed on the ground below with a loud impact as he writhed in pain.

Kakarot: "What the hell!?!?"

Kakarot didn't get a chance to rest as from above Chichi dove down with a savage dropkick to his stomach. Kakarot yelled in pain, coughing up blood. He was dazed, and struggled to recuperate as Chichi stood over him.

Chichi: "I know the truth Kakarot!!! 

Kakarot shuddered from Chichi's intimidating aura.

Chichi: "Your a Saiyan!!!"

Kakarot's eyes went wide in shock, as Chichi grabbed Kakarot by the collar of his Yardrat gi, staring at him with utter malice. 

Chichi was about to throw a punch. But she stopped. With a mix of both anger and confusion she glared at Kakarot as the Saiyan had quite a docile expression that was only fueling the deep anger in her heart.

Chichi: "Why aren't you fighting?!?"

Kakarot: "I have no reason to fight you"

This enraged Chichi.

Chichi: "SO WHAT!?!? YOU JUST DIDN'T WANNA GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY BEFORE!? IS THAT IT!?!?"

Kakarot: "W-What? No I-"

Chichi: "THEN WHY'D YOU DO IT!?!?"

Kakarot didn't know what to say. He didn't know what she was referring. The only thing he could consider was that somehow she found out about his past. All those he helped to kill.

Kakarot averted his eyes for a second. He knew this would happen. That if they ever found out about who he was. He would no longer be welcome.

Kakarot: "I.....I'm sorry Chichi....."

Kakarot looked up as he felt droplets fall on his face. Tears streamed from Chichi's eyes, as she still retained a look of pure animosity. 

Pure hatred. 

Chichi's ki alone began to push Kakarot back down into the ground as he could feel the air around him getting heavier.

Chichi: "TELL ME KAKAROT!?! YAMCHA, TIEN, PICCOLO!?!? DID THEIR LIVES MEAN NOTHING TO YOU!?!?!?"

Kakarot froze.

Kakarot: "W-w-What!?! What happened to them!?!?"

Chichi's expression changed slightly.

Chichi: "YOU SENT THEM!!!"

Kakarot: "Sent who!?!?"

Chichi was only growing more frustrated as she cocked back her fist. Kakarot squinted expecting the impact. But the punch would never land as Chichi was caught off guard with a kick to the gut.

Zangya: "LEAVE MR. KAKAROT ALONE!!!!!!!!"

Chichi stepped back, not hurt by the kick but just rather surprised. Zangya stood in front of Kakarot, protecting her guardian.

The rest of the Z Gang descended down as they all stood beside Chichi.

"You didn't send them?"

Kakarot shook his head. 

Now both parties stood atop of Kami's lookout. They had only done so after Zanyga's intervention, the Z Gang not wanting to involve the kid in their own fight. As they had arrived on the lookout Kakarot told Zangya to stay with Yajirobe as he confronted his old friends.
