Chapter 18

"BULMA!!!"

Bulma barely dodged a ki blast from Cabba.

The situation had went from good to bad as the Z Gang were now on the back foot as they pushed to their absolute limits.

Vegeta: "Awwww, where'd all that bravado go?"

Vegeta mocked the Z Gang as Nappa punched Piccolo into a mountain. Piccolo yelled in pain but didn't have to time to recover as Nappa threw yet another another punch hitting Piccolo head on.

Nappa continued his assualt as all Piccolo could do was block, waiting for the right moment to retaliate. Nappa  continued landing blow after blow until he stopped wondering if Piccolo was even still alive. He backed up as he looked in mountain.

Nappa: "Oh? Dead so soon-"

Piccolo: "DEVIL DON!!!!"

Piccolo fired off a huge red blast that hit Nappa dead on, sending the Saiyan crashing into a mountain. Piccolo knew it hadn't killed him, but that attack had bought him some time. He looked around finding Hercule laying on ground.

Piccolo: "HERCULE!!!!"

Piccolo flew over to his friend as he shook him. Hercule slowly woke up seeing Piccolo kneeling over him.

Piccolo: "Good, your alright"

Hercule: "Awww, so you do care"

Piccolo scoffed as he helped Hercule to his feet.

Hercule: "That last punch had me floored"

Piccolo: "Yeah I could tell. His power is insane"

Hercule he took a second to stretch as he gave Piccolo a concerned look.

Hercule: "Can we win here Piccolo"

Piccolo was silent. He would love to boast in pride that they could turn it all around. But he truly didn't know. He simply gave Hercule a nod before turning around.

Piccolo: "If we're going to win this we need to regroup with the others. Switching up our strategy is our only option!!"

The two flew as fast as they could making their way to the rest of the gang.

The rest of the Z Gang weren't doing much better as they struggled fighting off the three Saiyans.

Caulifla: "DO I LACK SKILL NOW!!"

Caulifla fired a mouth beam at Grandpa Gohan who stood, ready to defend the attack. 

Yajirobe: "Old Man!!"

Yajirobe rushed in as he hopped in front of Grandpa Gohan. 

Yajirobe: "BLADE DON'T FAIL ME NOW!!"

Putting in all his strength he sliced the blast in half as the two halves flew off into the distance, exploding. Caulifla stared in shock as Yajirobe gave a cocky smirk.

Yajirobe: "That all you got?"

Caulifla yelled in anger as she charged at the two, swinging at them both as they only barely dodged the attack. 

Hercule: "HAH!!!"

Hercule came flying in as he fired a ki blast hitting Caulifla's she recoiled in pain. She stumbled back as Cabba rushed in to pick up her slack.

Cabba punched Hercule sending him crashing into a cliffside. Hercule groaned in pain as Cabba rushed in but was stopped as Piccolo stretched his arm out. He grabbed Cabba's leg as with one swift motion he threw him straight into the ground.
