Sorry this one is kinda long. Hope you enjoy :)
Yamcha: "You ready Kakarot"
Kakarot: "Your acting like you have a chance Yamcha"
Yamcha wound up his arm, every muscle and fiber pushing power into this one throw.
Yamch: "Hit this!!!"
Yamcha threw a baseball at great speeds as Kakarot prepared to knock it into the stratosphere.
Kakarot: "TOO SLOW YAMCHA!!!"
Yamcha however only grinned as he flipped his two fingers up.
Yamcha: "Spirit technique, Maneuver"
Kakarot put his all into one swing, dead center on the ball. Or he would of been if the ball hadn't hopped over his bat landing right into Tien's glove who sat behind him as the catcher.
Kakarot: "The hell!?!?"
Kakarot stared at his bat as if it had failed him.
Yamcha: "What was that about not having a chance?"
Kakarot: "That has to be cheating"
Yamcha: "Nah, just skill"
Bulma: "Yeah Kakarot, you kinda got owned"
Bulma sat on the side happy to tease her friends at anytime.
Kakarot flipped her off before sitting on the bench to the side as Krillin went up to bat.
Krillin: "Let the Krill dog show you how its done"
Kakarot rolled his eyes before giving Krillin a high five.
Kakarot: "Hope you can reach the bat"
Krillin laughed at his remark as he stood at base.
Chichi: "Dang Carrot Cake, I though you said you'd "Beat us at anything" or does Baseball not count"
Kakarot grimaced as he sat next to Chichi.
Kakarot: "I haven't seen you hit anything"
Chichi: "I'm literally on defense-"
Kakarot: "Sounds like a skill issue to me"
Chichi: "....."
Chichi just groaned as Kakarot seemed proud of his comeback.
Chichi: "You know, I know this is coming out of nowhere, but"
Chichi grabbed Kakarot's hand who was surprised at the contact.
Chichi: "You've been here what? 2 years?"
Kakarot: "2 and a half"
Chichi: "Whatever"
Chichi paused as Kakarot leaned in curious to what she was on about.
Chichi: "You've really taken to the group, we all consider you like family"
The words sent a ping through Kakarot's heart. They were. Family?'
Kakarot looked out at the field. He had just truly noticed what he was doing.
He was supposed to be training, tricking the Earthlings into showing him all their tricks and "martial arts" before betraying them for his own gain.
Yet here he was playing "Baseball."
Did he actually enjoy this. Did he enjoy them. He couldn't. He just needed the power. And this was just another step to get said power.
Oh he wished it was so.
