Chapter 20

"DOUBLE SUNDAY"

Raditz fired off his signature attack as Bulma and Hercule barely dodged it.

Krillin: "Bulma!!"

Bulma nodded as she held out her hand firing off a large ki blast. Raditz narrowly evaded as from above both Hercule and Krillin hit Raditz down into the ground.

Krillin: "Keep up the preassure!!"

Bulma rushed in throwing a punch. Raditz dodged it but Hercule had her back as he hit Raditz with a heavy uppercut. Raditz shook it off as he swung a punch at Herucle, but Bulma threw Hercule up in the air as Raditz attack missed.

Bulma: "NOW!!!"

Raditz turned around as from behind Krillin fired off a huge ki blast knocking Raditz to the ground. 

Raditz: "Damn!!"

Hercule followed Krillin with another ki blast but Raditz successfully evaded it as he flew up kicking Hercule in the gut. Hercule coughed up blood but pushed through the pain as he punched Raditz across the jaw.

Raditz quickly recovered as he threw Hercule away, as Krillin came to back him up. Krillin dashed at Raditz as the two exchanged blow after blow pushing each other to their limits. As Raditz threw a punch Krillin leapt over it as he kicked Raditz in the face, as blood seeped from his nose.

Raditz: "Bastard!!"

Raditz rushed in with a viscous elbow as Krillin stumbled back. His eyes closed as he felt the taste of blood in his mouth.

Krillin: "NO"

Krillin opened his eyes, filled with determination as he hit Raditz with an absolutely brutal strike.

The Saiyan was stunned as from behind, Bulma leapt up grabbing Raditz by his tail as she flung him into the dirt below. Raditz cursed under his breath as the three stood confidently.

Krillin: "We can do this!!!"

Grandpa Gohan and Yajirobe stood back to back as they fended off Cabba and Caulifla.

Grandpa Gohan: "You should calm yourself"

Caulifla: "I'LL RIP YOU APART!!!"

Caulifla lunged at Grandpa Gohan as the old man redirected her momentum throwing her towards Yajirobe.

Grandpa Gohan: "Switch!!!"

Yajirobe flipped over Grandpa Gohan as with one swing Yajirobe severed Caulifla's tail as she screamed in both pain and anger.

Caulifla: "I'LL KILL YOU"

Caulifla in all her fury grabbed Yajirobe by his hair as she dragged him through the ground. She looked at Grandpa Gohan as she rushed in with a uncoordinated punch. 

Bulma: "I gotcha old man!!!"

Bulma flew in tackling Caulifla to the ground as she held her down. Caulifla struggled and clawed at Bulma who used all her strength to keep her still as the others took on Raditz and Cabba.

Caulifla: "When Vegeta returns it'll be over!!! WE'LL KILL YOU ALL!!!!!"

"YOU MEAN HIM?"

Everyone looked up as from above Chichi stood confidently on a cliff as she threw an unconscious Vegeta at the feet of Raditz.

Vegeta laid on the ground. He was badly wounded, but alive.

Raditz was in shock as the remaining Z Gang stared down the three Saiyans.

The only ones left standing.

One last fight.

Caulifla was seething in rage, the pain of her now severed tail nothing compared to the damage to her pride.

Caulifla: "YOU WEAKLINGS!!!!"

Caulifla began to power up a blast as her ki flickered, barely able to stand as blood trickled down her arms and legs. She didn't care if she was tired. She didn't care if she was gonna die. She would fight. For victory. For glory.

For the Saiyans.

But the blast would never go off as with one chop to the neck Raditz would knock her out. Cabba looked at Raditz who gave him a threatening look. Cabba understood and agreed.

Raditz: "We surrender"

The Z Gang was shocked. Raditz called in the ship as it landed beside them.

Krillin: "NO, NO ,NO!!!!"

Krillin limped over as he charged a ki blast.

Krillin: "YOU THINK YOU JUST GET TO LEAVE!!!"

Chichi followed Krillin charging a blast of her own. However with a light touch on the shoulder, the two turned to see Grandpa Gohan next to him.

Grandpa Gohan: ".........Don't"

Chichi: "Mr Gohan!?!? But Why?"

Grandpa Gohan: "They have surrendered. We have won. There is no honor in ending their lives now. And would you feel sufficed in killing a child?"

Chichi looked at the Saiyans. It was the first time she had noticed the two as kids. Cabba and Caulifla. Krilling and Chichi were conflicted however Grandpa Gohan's words calmed the two just a bit as Krillin dropped his arm, the blast fading from his palm. Krillin looked away as Cabba looked on. The old man's words were so famiiliar, so close to Kakarot's. 

Raditz picked up Vegeta as Cabba grabbed Caulifla. The four hopped on the ship as they set the coordinates for Planet Vegeta. The Z Gang watched as the ship blasted off leaving Earths atmosphere.

The Z Gang had done it.

They had won.

But at what cost......
