CHAPTER SIXTEEN: THE FIRST KISS AND THE RING

Emma and Five were arguing again.
"BESIDE THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" Emma shouted "HOW IN THIS MY FAULT?" Five shouted at her "Cause you are the one that got us stuck here!" she shouted at him "It's not my fucking fault that you chose to go with me. But you just wanted to be a daddy's girl" he said, raising his voice "No, I just didn't want to get punished by dad and I would be if I return without you" Emma said also raising her voice.
"If you haven't being so fucking stubborn and have just stop after the first jump, we wouldn't be here!" she shouted as she pointed her finger at him "That's it, I have handle you for years, I will leave you alone and find another way back home" Emma said "Good luck with that" he said and she let out a scoff before she turned around.
"Are you really leaving?" he asked "Yeah, I am" she said "Don't leave" he said and she stopped before she turned around to look at him "Why? Give me one good reason why I shouldn't leave" she said "I..." he said but it was like he couldn't find the words.
"That's what I thought" she said before she turned around "Emma wait" he said and she turned around again to look at him "What, why should I have not leave you?" she asked "Cause I don't want to die alone or be alone" he said "That is not a very reason. Beside you have Delores now, you don't need me" she said as she pointed on the mannequin.
"Beside Five, you hate me and I hate you, so I think it's best we leave each other" she said "Please don't leave" he said "Why should have stay, we are driving each other mad" she said "'Cause I like your company" he said "That's a lie, if you like my company, you would have show it by now. I'm leaving" she said and turned around "Please just wait" he shouted and she turned around "Why, gave me a reason to stay" she said.
Then without saying anything, Five walked over to Emma
He stared at her eyes before moving his gaze to her lips and back to her eyes again "Screw it" he mumbled to himself under his breath before grabbing the collar of her shirt and pressed her lips against his while pulling her closer with both his hands holding on to her collar.

Unable to absorb anything that was happening at the time, Emma's eyes opened in full surprise. Her thoughts were completely blank till they just focused his lips on his and she closed her eyes before kissing him back.

They both felt like the missing piece of puzzle was finally placed. They felt peace with each other.
As their lips touch it felt like the world around was blurry out and in slow motion.

Apocalypse
The kiss felt warm, safe and wonderful. Like it was right.
They both pulled away to look at each other and Emma inhale sharply as her eyes was widened.
"Okay" she said "Was that a good enough reasons?" he asked and she chuckled.
