Aneesa's Pov;
It's been 2 weeks now and Nayla's wedding is commencing in the next three days .
After a pile of exertion ,Nayla finally agreed to let us run some events before the big day "daurin aure" ..so here is the list of the events we finally agreed on .
•bridal shower
•Henna party
•Dinner
Yes we're doing the bridal shower ,because no way I'm wasting all the stickers I ordered ,I spent more than eighty thousand on those trying to make our bridal shower look fancy .And If you know me quite well you'll know that I hate wasting money .
Anyways ,let's skip to the good part ...we are having our bridal shower today ..yayyy I exclaimed!
Bridal shower
As the bride's best buddy of course ,I wore a silk dark brown dress ,a matching head scarf ,the brown birkin bag Nayla gifted me and a matching high heel .I wasn't wearing makeup because scented products irritates my skin ..and I just can't with all those makeup items .
Nayla was dressed beautifully in a sky blue dress with a matching head scarf ,a beautiful jewelry from her gift set ,a silver wedge heel and silver purse .And yeah she's wearing makeup as expected of her ..for the fact that I had to force her because she's not a fan of makeup either ..so I had to beg her to at least try the casuals .
"Nayla are you ready to go" ...I asked her
"Yes I'm"..she responded
"Aneesaatuuuu ,where are you hiding the bride to be "...that was Maysa shouting
"We're here ...the room behind you .." I responded
"You look so beautiful Nayla"...Maysa gasped immediately she entered the room
"Thankyou my love"...Nayla responded trying not to cry
"Don't cry baby ...you'll ruin your makeup ...I interrupted
"How's the decorations going so far because I haven't checked on them for more than two hours now ..I'm busy receiving phone calls and making sure Nayla is ready" I groaned at Maysa
"Well they've done the balloon drops and it's looking so beautiful ..they're trying to arrange the chairs now before the disc jokey popularly known as dj arrives"....Maysa declared
"It will be better If I get my lazy butt up from this couch to go check out the decorations "...I sighed !
Oh my god ! I must say this people really know their job ..the courtyard was beautifully decorated in blue ,yeah Nayla wanted blue because it is her favorite color ,the stickers I ordered were beautifully placed ,and a non alcoholic mocktail drink was arranged ..the disc jokey arrived and was playing some musics already and the food vendors were present too .
The cake I ordered finally arrived so did three more that Maysa ,Zehra and ya fatima ordered .
It's past 3pm now and our event suppose to start as we've written on our invitation card ,let me go and get Nayla because most of our guests have arrived ...I sighed !
We entered the venue as a group with Nayla in the middle ,she was accompanied by Maysa ,Zehra and Nayla's cousin hafsa ..and me obviously.. woahh all eyes was on us as we walked which I already anticipated because we nailed the look ! I looked so happy as I took Nayla to her fancy chair to settle down .
We danced happily as the brides maid of course and later on Nayla joined us too ..we were all wearing a sash that says "brides maid"and Nayla was wearing that of "bride to be".
The food vendors served varieties of dishes before we carried on with our cocktail party..I must say the bridal shower turned out to be better than I imagined ,we snapped a lot of pictures together before we later moved on to cut the cake and stuff it on Nayla's face like little kids .
The bridal shower ended around 6pm before magrib and the courtyard was cleared up by the cleaners as we moved to Nayla's room to rest before magrib .Maysa and Zehra departed to their houses while I decided to stay before my driver comes .
I'm so tired Neesaaaa....that was Nayla yawning
When you didn't do anything ...you just slayed and you're still complaining ..I glared at her
Still ..who told you slaying is easy ...she smirked
You know I could just slap you right ..I muttered eying her
You won't dare ...a whole bride like me ..don't let me call my husband for you ...she announced raising her left eye brows at me
Call him I'm waiting ...I glared
You won't believe what she did ..she seriously took her phone and dialed on sudais ..I mean I was just kidding .
Nayla ..you're crazy I'm just kidding ...I screamed
Well I'm not ..I'm calling him so that you will stop disrespecting me ...she gasped sticking her tongue out at me
"Hello wifey" ...sudais picked up at first ring
"Heyyy babe"..she replied pouting
"What's wrong wifey" ...he asked
"Aneesa is bullying me"..she replied
"Who told her that she can bully my wife ..okay give her the phone"...he muttered trying not to laugh
"No no no ...I'm not here" ...I panted trying to exit the room
"Baby she's running away" ...Nayla continued
"Well tell her If she bullies you again ...we will punish her" ..he replied jokingly
"Okay babe" ...she gasped
"So how are you doing ..how's the bridal shower ..hope you enjoyed it" ..he asked
"Uhmm baby ..I really liked it" ..she responded
Well I'm coming around 8pm I've a gift for you ..he declared in his husky voice
Okay see you babe ..she replied
I love you ...that was sudais being romantic
Uhmm Mee too ...she responded
Why Mee too ..say I love you too ..he muttered
Aneesa is eavesdropping on us ..I'm shy ..she exclaimed
Well who cares ...I'll soon be your husband ..he groaned
I know ...I love you too sudais ..Nayla responded before hanging off
Weyyyyyyyy...love kids ..that was me screaming immediately she hanged off
Nesaaaaa I'll kill you ...Nayla screamed chasing me
Infact I'm staying over ,I must see that gift ...I smirked running away
