Chapter 6

Michael's pov

After we explained everything to Luke and Rebecca, they stayed and hung out for a bit.

"Ok bye you guys" Rebecca called out as they left.

"Bye" I called from the couch.

"So" Maegan said as she closed the door, "now what do you wanna do?"

"I don't know" I answered.

"We could watch a movie" she suggested walking towards the TV.

"Sure" I said "but, what's a movie?"

She stopped looked at me.

"You've never seen a movie?" she asked.

I shook my head no.

She just looked at me.

"Ok" she said "then we're definitely watching a movie".

She picked a movie and put it in.

While we we're watching the movie I turned into a kitten and curled up on her lap.

She immediately started to pet me.

I wish all the other owners I had we're this nice I thought.

After we watched about three movies, we got hungry.

"What do you want to eat?" she asked me.

I turned back into a human so I could answer her.

"I don't know. What do you have?" I asked. 

"Well, I can't really cook. All I know how to do so far is how to make breakfast and heat up a can of soup" she said.

"Oooh" she said shaping her fingers "lets get McDonald's."

"Ok, but what's McDonald's" I asked.

She looked at me like I was crazy.

Then she scooted over to me and gave me a hug.

"I'm so sorry you didn't have these privileges" she said hugging me.

"Ok" she said, letting go of me and standing up, "lemme get dressed and then we'll go get some food" she said walking to her room.

After she got dressed, she walked out and grabbed her car keys.

"C'mon Michael" she said as she slipped on her shoes.

"But I'm not dressed" I said looking down at my pajamas.

"Oh yeah" she said "do you wanna get dressed or turn into a kitten?" she asked.

"I'll turn into a kitten 'cause I wanna curl up on your lap" I said walking towards her.

"O-oh ok" she said blushing.

I chuckled quietly.

"Ok lets go" I said turning into a kitten.

(In the car)

I hate this thing I thought as I layed down on Maegan's lap.

I wonder what McDonald's is.

I continue to think as we sat in the car.

Maegan was playing music and siging along.

She had one hand on the steering wheel and the other she used to pet me.

Soon we pulled up to a building and and drove by what looked like a speaker.

"Hello welcome to McDonald's. What can I get for you?"

We ordered our food and drove home.

She put the bag of food in the passengers seat, so I crawled over and tried to look in the bag.

"Mikey" I heard her say "leave the bag alone. We'll eat when we get home". I crawled back over to her and curled back up on her lap.

(At the house)

We walked in and I turned back into a human then sat down at the table.

"What'd you get?" I asked her.

"Ok" she said digging through the bag "I got a twenty piece McNugget and a large fry so the we can share the fries and both get ten chicken nuggets" she said as she got two paper plates and the ketchup from the fridge.

We both got an even amount and ate at the table.

The food was actually good.

It was later than we realised, it was 10:30p.m..

We sat on the couch and watched TV till about 11:00, then we got ready for bed.

I turned into a kitten while Maegan got dressed.

When she got in bed I jumped on her chest and curled up.

"Good night Mikey" she yawned and fell asleep.

Today had been one of the best for me because someone actually cared.
