The release of the foreign agents was part of the deal that was agreed upon by the Federal Government and the Kingdom of Naeslagtland.

This was met by controversies as many people shared that those spies should have served their sentence as with the other and not be let free. A spokesperson of the Høyre Party of Agevær would also go on to call the release as unacceptable.

Nevertheless, the Naeslagt operatives are said to be a done deal. They will be sent back home safely where the responsibility will be handed over to Aveland.

In the what they call the 'Republic of Flashia' rather than the Federal Republic of Flashia for simplicity sakes, shadowy figures would cross the street under where the lights don't shine.

"You sure it's here?" whispered the middle man of the group.

"The thing never lies, don't worry about it" quietly answered back the leader.

In the past few years, in response to increasing number of slaves escaping without a trace, slave owners got together to develop new ways to track down and get them back to their owners. First, it was the formation and rise of the 'Slave Hunters Guilds' consisting of bounty hunters for bringing slaves back 'home', then it was the devices and gadgets that help making their job even easier.

By applying a special kind of branding, each with distinctive magic signature onto them, and using a special kind of compass, one would be able to find where they had gone at a moment's notice, in this case, some kind of military base. Then, you have the ticking sounds that intensifies in relation to how close the target is.

"We are getting closer..."

And that is just one of the ways for them to bring the slave back. And with everything else, it does have some flaws, most notably, the aforementioned branding had to be applied often as the signature would completely wear out after at least a week depending on the quality. And so, they had to act fast.

The group went up to the sides of the facility with some kind of metal fences with net pattern on them, main entrance points is a clear no-go as there are guards in the way. One slave hunter would approach the fence and reach for the net in an attempt to use it to get himself to the other side, but there is a catch...

"AI!" he recoiled back with what seems like electricity flowing through his hand "What is this? An Electric Enhanced Magic Fence?"

"Shhh!" shushed the leader "Keep quiet, they will know we're here"

"Oh... sorry"

The leader then turns towards the mage.

"Hey, can you open this up for us?"

The mage simply nodded, as she got to her job. She casted a fire spell, cutting the fence in a large rectangular pattern as the piece would fall out to their side. The hunters didn't waste any time going through the gap.

All that's left now is to find this slave they were tasked to find. The hunters carefully moved around the facilities, avoiding the guards before making it to a campsite. This is where the ticking only intensified as they got closer and closer.
