Somewhere on the vast sea far North of Esterria, an ensign-less ship speed towards a lucrative, massive prey ahead of them. It's so massive one could just pull out a spyglass and immediately see it on the horizon.

"It's going to be a big day for us if we're still not even there yet..." the captain commented while putting down his spyglass "C'mon lads! Maintain course and fuller speed ahead!"

"This is the fastest we can go!" his deputy at the back reminded him.

"I don't care! Just get there faster somehow!"

"Aye aye, Captain!"

With valuable goods entering Esterria sent from Flashia, the rationale became clear that whatever's in their ships will be very worthwhile. Barbarians they may be, but there's not much denying the riches they bring along.

"I'm willing to bet that we'd get enough to make our own navy fleet! What do you say, lads?"

3 hours earlier

In the early morning security contractors standing by at their client ship stood guard, having eyes around the ships to look out for anything posing a threat to them.

Armed with rifles, particularly semi-auto only version of the RM69/7 with optical sights, they are clearly geared and prepared for today's job, but someone higher up didn't think that would suffice.

On the catwalk on the bridge, a contractor was observing something with his binocular when his co-worker walked up to him?

"What's up man?"

"Just looking at men in green"

"What kind of men in green are we talking about? The Newberslawnians?"

"This ain't Karyezhikh*, you know..."

He hands his friend the binocular who then look down the same lens at the general direction of what he was looking at. Turns out, at the entrance, with bulky rucksacks, soldiers from the military were settling themselves onboard the ships.

"Yeah... That's definitely Mariners..." he deduced just by spotting the rifles they were carrying.

"Just Operation Safeguard thing"

"I know"

In concurrence with the establishment of relations both diplomatic and economic with the Commonwealth to the South, the Ministry of Defense started Operation Safeguard primarily focused on making sure ships do actually get there and back safely.

"Kinda weird isn't it? I mean we already have like 30 guys in here, with a Navy escort, it would normally be enough"

"Could be something important on board this ship" he'd put the binocular down.

"Like what?"

"I don't know... Guns, tanks maybe?"

"...Never seen a single tank coming to the port"

"You never know, that kind of shit is usually in secret I think, arms dealer style, you know what I'm sayin'?"

"...Yeah..."

They both watched as the platoon worth of Marinesoldater marched on with their load to the bridge.

"We're already trouble to them pirates... They're going to face even more of it..."
