Meeting with Vegas

Ren left instructions for Akiro to be in charge while he was away. He thought to himself that he should go and explain to Kim that he will be out for about a week, but he left that duty to Yoshi. He told Yoshi to move him to the other room and that he was not permitted to leave it. Yoshi asked to have him at least go through drills with the guys, so he doesn't get bored. After some thought Ren approved of this. Aioshi was still staying close to Kitchi and Ren had to tell him that he needed to leave Ton alone until the council was done with their investigation. Aioshi promised he would comply. Akiro took Ren to the airport, where he boarded a plane board for Thailand. A place he hasn't been to for a little over 2 yrs. now.

Akiro drove back to the mansion as with the news that Ren was gone, he knew he is Pa would try something and they were ready for it. He had the seal from the council that puts him in charge in the absence of Ren. Something his Pa had under Sanoske. The council agreed with Ren when he asked for it that it was time for the younger generation to show what they could do. Yoshi went and woke up Kim. Kim of course was confused as to why he wasn't moved last night like he was told. He hoped it didn't mean that Chay was getting punished. He knew he screwed up when Yoshi walked in, but it was already too late. "Kim, Ren had an emergency and will be gone for about a week. I am going to help you move your things to your new room. You are not to leave that room as everything you need is in there." "If he is going to be gone for a week, why can't I just stay in this room" "Did you forget you kissed someone yesterday? You are just lucky that Ren had to go out of town." "I understand." Yoshi helped Kim move his stuff, and then handed him a training outfit. "I did get permission for you to do drills with the guys. Let me know when you have changed, and we will go to the training room." Kim thought to himself, at least I won't have to look at this stuff or the scary covered crate in the corner all day. That crate really freaks me out.

Meanwhile in Thailand...

Vegas just came from a meeting at the Main Mansion. Korn was livid because a couple of his moles in Japan were killed. He just laughed as it was the two, he had sent to Chay. He is not sure how Chay is involved with Ren, but he is going to ask before their meeting starts tomorrow. He knew Chay was arriving today and also knew that his brother was picking him up. Thanks to having Boss, Kit, and Non as Macau's guards since Kinn kicked them out of the main family, Vegas is able to keep a better eye on his brother. Kim's guards are like shadows, his brother doesn't even know they are on him. He thinks it is just his usual guards, which he ditches all the time to do things he shouldn't. He is well aware of the Condo he bought that he intends to move into with Nao. He is just going to let his brother think he has no idea what is going on. As long as his brother is safe, that is all that matters. His phone went off and he looked and saw a message from Kit. "Vegas, Chay is staying at the Condo and he 10 guards on him like what is on Nao." This made Vegas think. Why would Chay have Shadow Guards like Nao? He was getting more questions than he was answers. "Kit, I trust Chay, you just stay with Macau."

The next day, Chay went to Kim's studio. He ended up texting Vegas to meet him at a different location because it seemed Kinn had people watching the studio. The location that Chay sent to Vegas, he knew Kinn wouldn't know anything about because he learned that this was his Grandma's favorite place in Thailand. He sent a couple of his guards ahead to make sure. When he got the word that the place looked run down and no one was around, he knew he had picked the perfect spot. It wasn't long after his arrival that Vegas showed up. Vegas walked in "This place looks decrepit" "Yeah, I guess after grandma passed, no one else came here" "Wait grandma as in Aunts mom?" "Yeah. I read about this place in Japan. Once I get things settled, I am going to bring this back to its former glory." "Chay, can you tell me what your relationship with Ren is?" "I am Ren. Oh, don't give me that look. Only Me or my brother could take over, so I took over. You know Korn sent me to Japan for my death. He found out about Kim and I." "Wait, you and Kim." "Yeah, we were together and then Kim broke up with me and shattered my heart. So, not knowing that Korn can't be trusted, I went to him and asked for his help. Not knowing I just had fallen into his trap." "What trap?" "He knew who could inherit Japan. So, he sent me to take over, but it wouldn't last as his plan was to have me killed and then he could send Kim to take over. We both know Kim would have killed everyone." "Yeah, so how come you didn't die? Just curious how you figured this all out." "I didn't figure it out. My guard figured it out. They aren't loyal to Korn nor were they loyal to the person temporarily in charge either." "So where does Kim fit into this?" "Korn contracted his death after the Wik concert. I kidnapped him before that could happen. He was my prisoner and to save me, he became Ren's Pet." "Wait, he doesn't know you are Ren?" "No, I have to keep it that way to save him. I am still trying to weed out those disloyal in the Yakuza?" "No wonder you are using me to figure out who is helping Uncle." Ren hands Vegas a packet. "What is this?" "A little something to help you take down Uncle." Vegas pulls it out and can't believe what he is looking at. He thinks to himself. What the hell was his Pa and Uncle into. "Do you have a plan to get this information. It is not like I can hang out at the main mansion. We will have to include Porsche." "No, don't get my brother involved. Korn will expect that, I have already got things in motion for our inside man at the mansion." "Who" "Tankhun" "What" "Khun isn't crazy, he just pretends to be crazy." "You are kidding me" "Nope, Korn did something wrong to Khun and since Khun has been crazy, but he really isn't. He just makes it like he isn't a threat." "So, how are you going to include Khun" "Macau" "Wait what does my brother have to do with it." "Him and I are friends. He sees Top for his depression, Top is in a relationship with Khun. Perfect for sending messages back and forth." "Isn't Top going to get suspicious?" "Nope. Khun has filled him in. Plus, Khun will do anything for his younger brother." "So let me get this straight. You don't talk to your brother or Kinn, but keep in contact with everyone else in the family?" "Yep." "Kinn can't be trusted. He is blinded by his Pa. The less he knows the better."
