Chen's POV

I was watching Ren and Kim. Actually, I think everyone was watching them. I don't think anyone expected Kim to answer like that. The light that I saw in Ren's eyes left, and there was only a cold icy glare now. It was as if the last shred of humanity had left him. I actually didn't know who to be more afraid of at that moment. We all were waiting for Kim to answer, but again, Ren spoke. Ren dropped the collar he was holding and then looked at me before saying, "My apologies to the council, I will need some time before we handle the next order of business. Aioshi, please escort my pet to the dungeon. If he makes one wrong move, shoot him." I saw the surprised look on Kim's face, but he said nothing as he left with Aioshi. Ren also left the room. I noticed Kitchi followed. I was not sure who he left for. After they left, Akio looked at me, and I knew what he wanted, but I wasn't going to give it to him. "My ruling stands. Kim is trained and as you just witnessed. Ren is capable of punishing him when he steps out of line. You all know the collar ceremony is the acceptance of each other's love. Kim rejected; Ren accepted." I could tell Akio wanted to say something else, but he kept quiet.

Ren's POV

I was filled with rage. It was all I could do not to shoot Kim. He just made me look like a fool in front of my council and subordinates. I wasn't going to let him answer Chen's question, so I accepted his rejection. He will never wear the collar I designed for him. I sat down in my office chair and wondered what was so good about Ren, who wore a mask and Chay. Now I know why he could accept Ren so easily. He never really loved me, as Chay. I had just been delusional thinking otherwise. I gave my heart to someone with an ice heart, so it is only natural that that person can only love another ice hearted person. I heard someone come in, but I didn't look up. I didn't care who it was. I just put my Desert Eagle on my desk and listened to the person leave. I turned on the monitor and watched as Aioshi chained Kim to the wall. I noticed Kitchi entered and wondered why he was down there. I didn't have to wait long. "Kim, we all risked punishment to help you, and our words meant nothing to you. Whatever happens to you now is your doing." Aioshi grabbed Kitchi and left. I just watched Kim for a while. He said nothing, but I guess I didn't expect him to. Shit, Akio partially won today. Kim was my pet, but without a collar, he could never be my right-hand man and I will not put a collar on him. So technically, he is useless to me now. Yoshi knocked on my door and told me that the council took a lunch break and would hear Kitchi's case at 2. I thanked him and just sat in my office watching Kim. Then I decided to go and see my pet.

I walk into the dungeon room where Kim is. "Do you like your new surroundings? Too bad if you don't. This is your new home now." "Ren, I..." I cut him off. "Shut up Pet. You are my pet, and I am your master. You will refer to me as Master from now on and will only speak when spoken too. You asked me to be your emotional shoulder, well I hope you enjoy the emotions you will get." After I said that I punched him hard twice in the stomach area. I heard him grunt in pain, but I didn't care. After I punched him, I slapped him a couple times on the face leaving my handprint. I was getting ready to punch him again, but Chen stopped me. "Ren, calm down." "Chen why are you here?" "I came to see your pet. He never answered my question." "What does it matter, he is never leaving this room." "Ren" I hated that I had to bow down to him and in front of Kim too. Chen hands me Kim's collar that I dropped in the meeting room. I just look at him. "Ren, you know you have to put a collar on him." I threw it at Chen "I don't care what collar you put on him, just not that one. Pet, you better answer his questions. See you at the next meeting Chen" Then I leave. I only came down here to release my emotions on my pet, but since I can't do that, I am leaving as I can't stand to be in the same room as him.

Kim's POV

I was staring at Chay as he walked in. I could tell he saw my thoughts through my eyes. I could also see his. First there was hope, then despair, and then they turned to ice when I told him I rejected him. I knew Chen was trying to keep the situation from getting worse, and I thank him for that. He asked me if I could still stay loyal. I was just about to respond when Chay responded instead. When I heard him say "Kim, I accept your rejection." and saw him drop the collar he was holding, I knew I had broken him again. The problem was this time, I didn't care. I was angry, and thinking what game is he playing. Did he want revenge so bad that he came to Japan and somehow became the leader of the Yakuza, which that confuses me even more as I know that is hereditary and not something you can just take over. I was still deep in thought when I heard him tell the council he needed time and Aioshi was to take me to the dungeon. I was shocked that he would send me there. He wasn't sending me to either room that I was used to, he was sending me to the actual dungeon. Aioshi grabbed my arm, and I followed him. I could tell he was angry with me. He wasn't speaking. He led me to a room that had chains on the walls and hanging from the ceiling, a toilet in the corner, and just a mattress on the floor. There was nothing else in the room. No pillow, no blanket, it reminded me of the dungeon rooms my Pa has. This is where Chay sent me. Aioshi motioned for me to go against the wall. Knowing that if I didn't comply, Aioshi could shoot me, I just followed him. I certainly didn't expect to get chained to the wall. He cuffed both my hands and my feet. I wasn't going anywhere. Kitchi came in and glared at me and said "Kim, we all risked punishment to help you, and our words meant nothing to you. Whatever happens to you now is your doing." Aioshi didn't seem happy that he was there, so he grabbed Kitchi and left. I was wondering why I was so upset with Chay, I mean I was the one that used him first, I guess he was just getting payback, but this type of revenge, I could not accept.
